i got my treadmill thursday and it was so easy to put together u litterally pull it out of the box lift the arms up and u r ready to go its now sunday and i love working out on it i love the 5% incline and just everything about it. My workouts r really great and i got it within 7 days of ordering it from site to store, and i even got a refund from it because it was 587 and they rolledback the price to 450 so they gave me my 145 dollars back. I would recommend this treadmill to everybody but just make sure u r the right height and weight for the treadmill because this treadmill would fit a person who is 5"5" and under because a really tall person would have to look down at the screen while exercising and im 5"3" so this fits me perfectly.
I just received the treadmill.(2/10/11) This is the easist treadmill to get up an running. It took all of 10 mins. I have only workd out on it for 1 hour so far. The only problem I had was a cracked footrail. I called Icon customer service, left my number, was called back in 1 hour, and the new footrail is on the way. I will post another review in a few months and tell you how this model has woked out..... So far, pretty good bang for the buck.....
When I first bought this golds gym 690 it had a noise. I called the tech. dept. and told them about it. they ask me some questions on adjusting this unit and I told them that it was adjusted by the book. their answer was give it some time to break it in, in other words they are reluctent to send a service person to come out and fix it. So if somebody buys a golds unit they are going to have problems in the service dept. So beware!
