Larger than if you purchased a similar item as a planter and a "planter" this size would cost more. It's sturdy and with cover on, it's attractive for winter plus protects your soil. A very attractive item to place anywhere around your home. Mine is actually right in front so it's super easy to get to. It's going to be a one tomato plant holder in the spring. It holds about 2 large bags of soil only so soil won't cost a fortune, maybe $20. depending on grade you purchase. You do have to put drainage holes in bottom if you want it for a planter
Use it to store my bird seed in. Love it!!!!
Like the look on our patio. Has very sleek and clean lines. Lid seems to close tightly. The test will be when garbage is in side and it keeps the animals out
Purchased this in the oak color which looks like it did on my computer. It looks nice on the patio and matches our dark bronze furniture. It does take two hands to open but that will help keep wild animals out of it. If we have a gathering I would probably just leave the top off. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this Savannah 30 gallon bin in white for our front porch and am so very glad I did. I use it to stash porch and yard debris that I previously had to take all the way to the rear of our property. The bin blends in so well with our porch rails that it looks like an original architectural element, and the 33 gallon trash bag that I use to line it is virtually invisible when the lid is in place. And the lid can be lifted off or replaced using just one hand---no tugging or pushing needed. Thanks, Hayneedle, for stocking this fine product!
I ordered the 30 gallon waste and storage bin in white. It was exactly what I was looking for----a handsome, spacious container that coordinates with my front porch rails so well that it looks like an architectural element. Having a trash receptacle on the porch is so very convenient for disposing of detritus from the porch and from our whole front yard. Best of all, the lid lifts off and can be replaced with just one hand---no tugging or pushing needed. Buy it!
Great trash can for poolside. Sturdy. Doesn't tip over - even with strong winds. Lid fits and stays on tight. Just what I needed. It definitely doesn't look like a trash can, but functions like one perfectly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This item is exactly as described and looks very nice on patio.
This garbage can looks very nice on the patio and the color and size are great. The top fits very snugly, therefore hard to remove with one hand.Also I had a hard time finding a large enough bag for it that wasn't expensive. Still happy with it.
