Wanted to keep the OEM tires on my 18-year-old corvette to maintain it's original factory condition.
Product was delivered in nice shape at a fair price. Delivery process and contact efforts left a little to be desired.
I have went through about 6 sets including my last car and my current car. Both were / are SS 1LE Camaro's. Like in geometry there are givens: You will be pushing it to get 20K miles on a set.......Snow, Ice out of the question....Rain? No - too much hydroplaning....Cold - be aware these are summer tires. All that said - Fantastic tire for driving in good weather conditions but you will have to check the weather before heading out with them. Mine hydroplane horribly in wet weather. Like max 35 mph on Interstate in rain. Cold weather? You just have to know they will be loose and be cautious but it wouldn't deter me from using them in cold weather. Just know you can break the rear tires loose at 75 mph - kinda like you are on marbles....but rain - I drive my F150.
Had the previous version of this tyre and were great. Great traction great mileage. This new version is terrible. Traction under acceleration is bad right from new. Wet weather is worrying. These are 11mths old, less than 10ks and the whole middle section is worn away. (They are on cars rear) I'm having to replace them already which is ridiculous. I won't be replacing with the same or buying again in the future. You guys ruined a great tyre when you changed it.
