We walk our dogs on a meadow, Aaron adventure dog, is a Cockerpoo and can get into much smaller areas then Zelda the GSD. He often just buggers off into the bushes and we wanted to see what he was up to. He gets everywhere and we've seen his antics, although he scented a deer she managed to avoid his attention! The video quality is excellent and the harness works a treat and he was no fuss to put it on. Zeldas turn next when we run around hopefully Derwent or Ullswater.
Worked great for a while. Can't complain I switched between multiple dogs .I know stuff don't last forever got about 12 hrs of video before it was a rag...gues I'll buy another?
Like almost every other review you will find online says, the securing straps are utterly useless. If your dog is lethargic and doesn't run, you might be OK. For anyone else, the saddle and chest mounting plates are good, the only real option is to buy a tac style harness with molle webbing and use zip ties to attach the saddle and chest mount. Doing so will provide a solid rig that won't slip sideways.
The footage is great, I have a 45kg Rottweiler and it's nice and steady on her. Only issue is that you can't attach a lead for walks and that sort of stuff. Great product, but not for those who walk their dog on a lead.
Like all other reviews you'll find online, the straps for this harness are utterly useless. Unless your dog is lethargic or you're using it for lead walks, the camera will flop sideways. The saddle and chest mount are well made and work well. The only viable option is buying a tac vest with molle webbing (or similar), cutting off the straps and attaching with zip ties. Doing this makes the Fetch mounts fit for purpose.
Harness straps pull themselves loose no matter how many times you pull them tight - allowing the harness to move on the dog and the camera falls to one side. Especially bad with the weight of a GoPro Max. Novelty item only, borderline unfit for purpose.
I really like the idea but unfortunately it slips to the side with both my dogs. So still trying to figure out how to use it without the go pro slipping to the side
I am very disappointed! The straps are constantly loosening, the camera falls wherever it wants, I'm speechless... You should have put in the effort to make a quality harness for a pet.
Would work great on a less active dog, but for our border collie, it doesn't matter how tight you pull the straps, they work their way loose when she's bouncing around
I always walk my dog leaded and didn't consider the harness would not accommodate lead hoop.. I do not like the side plastic attachments as the elastic could ping off. Dog runs off . My dog ex greyhound so I have to see if it fits with our other harness. Seems like I've bought something that is no good for us but might be useful to those who have dogs that have good recall.
