The tripod is very high quality and robust, the materials are comfortable to hold in the Hand and the size is also special
I think this handle is perfect for the GoPro MAX because it allows to capture beautiful 360º images and I like also the tripod function that allows to take photos and videos whiteout having to hold the camera.
The best all in one grip have a tripod selfie stick. Price is good
This thing is absolutely amazing, I bought it to take on a trip so I wouldn't miss anything and the quality is out of this world. I take it everywhere with me now especially when we go swim anywhere.
Once you start use it - you'll find the longer pole and tripod are awesome! :+1:
This is my second MAX Grip I bought, because the first one broke and wasn't replaced by the GoPro Support as I used it during wintersports and due to the manual the MAX Grip must not be used in below zero conditions, which I didn't knew and still dont understand as it is used in GoPros own advertisings for below zero sports. Anyway the product itself delivers what you expect - the stick itself is clipped out in the final footage and therefor you get nice third person recordings. When the stick is extended and wet/cold/frozen from the snow, it kinda refuses to be retained, which is, what I think, the reason is for GoPro to tell that it mustn't be used in below zero conditions and why my first one broke down. Maybe also the glue that is used to connect the mount to the stick itself is not suitable for those negative degrees. Tho the best practise seems to NOT lock the stick after use and as fast as possible to extend it, keep it unlocked an dry it before storing it in retained position. Normally I would give 4 stars, bequase the product itself is a big benefit for the MAX, also because of its tripod feature. BUT because of the limitations due to the non-below-zero usability (only thing I use the MAX for) and the fact, that I needed to replace the stick after two weeks of use in the snow lower the score to 2/5.
I have Hero7 and it is not compatible because my camera doesn't have the grip for this thing. Money wasted
I was pumped to use my GP Max with this selfie unit. I literally touched the snow and my GoPro broke off the end. Aluminum end would be better. Especially because of the price. The quick app has a lot of user issues as well. After my 4th GoPro I'm not happy with this product anymore. I might have to move on to a different video/camera.
