I actually purchased a similar product by Gorilla namely Model GRAR7-1848-6WDI at our local Sam's Club in Cheektowaga, NY. It is a terrific product. Due to their high standards of manufacturing and quality control the pieces fit together easily. I assembled two seven feet racks, each with six shelves in less than two hours. All I used was a rubber mallet and block of wood to hammer home each shelf bracket onto the verical angle iron supports. The shelves are sturdy and good looking for use in basement, garage or storage shed.
I bought about 4 of these 10 years ago and recently had another need for a couple more shelving units. I was so pleased with my purchase years ago, I sought out Gorilla again. My Sams did not carry them in the store, but they were available on line. I bought two more and once again very pleased. Took me about 25 min. to assemble the first one and 15 min. to assemble the second one. A mallet or a short piece of 2x4 to beat with is probably all you might need to assemble. I didn't need them, the units went together just fine. The wood shelves themselves are only about 3/8 inch thick but seem to do the job. I have really loaded these shelves to the max with no problems. Very nice fit and black finish.
Shelf rack is of good quality, strong and fairly easy to assemble. Instructions how to assemble are good however some of the fitting of connections can be a little difficult due to the tightness of connectors that are either bent on receiving or just manufactured this way.
