Great buy. Love it. The charcoal filter was broken upon opening the box. Poor packaging on the filter. It was just bouncing around inside. Thus, it's broken. Will see how performance is with this not in one piece.

Great indoor grill when you cannot do it outside. It's easy cleanup too!
The hump for the fan de breathe or bring in the smoke whatever it does in the middle of the grill is bad because you can't use all the grill Only maybe a quarter and a quarter of the grill

My sister loves the Gotham. It was a birthday gift.
The grill looked very good but did not offer anything special. There was no cover or temperature guide. My food was dried out and it is easier to cook on my stove.
It seamed like good idea and I like the Gotham copper as I have other Gotham products. However the grill pattern on this unit was harder to clean in the grooves than my other Gotham griddle grill. The drip pan was a breeze to clean and I could have worked with the grill grooves if I wiped it off immediately before grill debris hardened. And rinsed it really well before washing. Nevertheless like I indicated in the title, the charcoal smoke filter broke the second day and I did not drop it. I wiped the grease off it with damp rag and I felt the charcoal crack. The instructions say it's good for 80 uses, I got two out of it. And supposedly it can be removed from plastic and heated in oven to clean. That was absolutely impossible as there would be no way to remove the plastic without breaking the charcoal disc inside. Sorry Gotham this product is a”dog” as it's still messy; grease splatters while meat is cooking even with the noisy fan. And I use splatter shield behind unit, which was full of grease. I'm Retuning the unit and purchasing the ninja sizzle indoor smokeless grill griddle because it has a removable lid to keep in the grease and smoke and all parts are dishwasher safe.
I loved the way it cleans up but it takes too long to cook and meat stays tough …. Steaks less than an inch and still it won't cook through
I was so excited to get this Grill and So DISAPPOINTED when it arrived. first the handle was broken i glued it back together but it didnt hold. then it really is not a grill. it doesnt get got enough wirh the air blowing from the fan. totally would not recommend unless you want something else cluttering your cabinets. totally sad about this product.
