At first, I wasn't sure I would like these herbs, because they are "partially dried," yet in the fresh herb section of the produce department, but I like the combination of herbs for both Italian and Hispanic dishes, so I tried it and LOVE IT! This little bowl of herbs replaces multiple herbs and, because it is partially dried, they last a couple of months (no fresh herbs would last more than a couple of weeks), so I highly recommend this product if you love to cook.
This makes Lasagna, pizza, and other pastas perfect. I add it to my chicken bacon ranch roasted subs too. It's just awesome!
Very aromatic and gives your dish a wonderful flavor!
Nothing beats the taste of chopping your own herbs but this is a time and money saver when you are looking to cut some corners and still provide great flavor to a dish. When I'm feeling lazy or low on cash, I always pick these up. They are soft when you open the package and haven't lost their beautiful color or aroma. Put the lid on and pop them back in the fridge and it keeps for weeks. Worth the purchase for sure. I don't even think the bad reviews are speaking of this product in particular so don't let that stop you from adding these to your cart.
I asked that no substitute be made and you sent me broccoli when I asked for coliflower. And my Italian herbs are not in the bags. I hate substitutes!!!!
if they wanted it to a true italian seasoning herbs and left out the canola oil and put in virgin or extra virgin olive oil. Sorry to say. opinions really make a difference.
