This is a really nice high chair and fits my decor great! It will be used for a boy and a girl and is comfortable, easy to clean, and easy to travel with! Great buy! I'd get it again if i had to!
We started out shopping for highchairs at Babies R Us. My wife and I compared models and pricing while our 7-month old daughter sat in the different seats and giggled at us. After about 20 minutes, we decided on the Graco Contempo. Unfortunately, we both hated the one color they had in stock at the store. So, the plan was to come online and see if the Contempo came in any other colors. A quick browse through the Graco website showed us that there are many. My wife picked out the Rittenhouse. I was doubtful. It looks much better in person, that's why I included a close-up picture of the pattern. It was hard for me to see online. Walmart ended up having the best to-our-door price, so that's where we bought it. We live in Ohio and it shipped from California, so it took longer to get here than I would have liked. Here are the best features after using it for a couple weeks. 1) Folded up, it's extremely thin. The thinnest I've seen. That comes in handy when moving it around the house and storing it in the closet when the baby is not at the kitchen table. 2) The buckle system is user-friendly. Some of the other buckles needed two hands to undo. You only need one hand with this highchair. 3) The black, white and tan color matches our kitchen. 4) Most importantly, the little girl loves it.
Love this chair. The black & white design is funky and cool, which is the main reason why I decided on this one. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort this provides my little girl, and it's easy to wipe down. The span of the legs is a little wide, but it folds up nicely. You can't set it up one-handed, but I don't know if you can with most other high chairs. Overall, I am very glad I bought it! I think the pattern could work for a boy, even though it is a little flowery.
I had one of these high chairs in my home for my grandchildren and just purchased this one for a vacation home. They are wonderful. They are compact and easy to store folding flat to store easily with the tray remaining attached if you choose. It also doesn't take up too much space when in use and has wheels to make it easy to move. What I like best is it is easy to clean. The tray has a top layer you can remove for easy cleaning and the pad just needs to be wiped down. Oh and one more thing....I love the many options in patterns.
I research a lot before I buy ANYTHING and I really wanted a highchair that rolled, adjusted to many heights, layed back, was easy to clean and most importantly -- easy to put the tray on. This high chair does just that! I can't begin to tell you how easy it is to adjust the entire chair and put the tray on or off. You can very easily do it with one hand. I love too that this high chair can adjust to so many heights. My son sits at the bar with us, the dining room table, or (in the lowest position) right beside me by the couch. I love it, I love it, I love it!!
I looked for SIX months for a high chair that would match my kitchen that wasn't over $150. This site had the best price and it arrived in about 3 days site to store. Folds super slim and you can remove the tray with one hand. With out the tray, the chair can slide right up to the dining room table to help the child adjust to eating like a big kid. I am very happy with this chair. Everyone that comes over takes one look at it and says how beautiful it is for a high chair and marvels at how far high chairs have come over the years!
I think this is a great high chair. It's very sturdy which was the most important thing. I love how the tray table comes off for easy cleaning, it has just the right amount of cushioning, the height and reclining adjustments are so wonderful and convenient, the pattern is perfect for either boy or girl, and I love how the cushion comes off for easy washing. If I had to give a negative the only thing I would change is I wish the tray swung open for easier seating. Other then that I am completely satisfied with this high chair and would recommend it.
I bought this high chair mainly for its looks. When I got it home and out of the box my like for this chair turned into love! We live in a 900 square foot apartment and the fact that this chair can fold up is fantastic. The more space we can save the better. I love all the adjustments it has! The wheels make it simple to move the chair from place to place without having to pick it up. I know this chair will grow with my 6 month old. Initially I was going to purchase a wooden high chair but seeing two of my friends ‘chairs detoured me from doing so. Their children are around 7 months and just starting to sit up. My friends have to put two blankets around them just so the will be comfortable and able to stay sitting up for the whole feeding because there are hardly any adjustments. My daughter does not need any blankets to sit up in her chair. The tray moves far enough back to support her back and arms and the back of the chair can tilt so you can get the right comfort level for your baby.
I love this high chair I've had it for a couple of weeks now and it helps my baby feel comfortable especially with all the padding and plus it reclines and you can make it short or tall, besides that its cute! And my baby loves it .
After searching and searching and searching, and not having a price range, I decided to go with this highchair. I do have to say I am pleased with it. This is my 4th child (10 yr break) so we've had good and bad highchairs. I like this highchair for many reasons: it folds up fairly small, it reclines to nice positions, the straps hold my wiggly one in, it has an extra tray (cover) to make cleaning easy, wipes up easily, lots of room in the seat for ALL size babies, the tray fits close (adjustable) to her tummy so tons of food doesn't fall in the seat, and the fabric makes pictures look SO cute!! I really don't have many negative things to say other than she can easily pull off the tray cover by grabbing the cupholder. I'm guessing she'll either grow out of that phase, or I'll have to stop using it. I did use this highchair for at 2 mos before reviewing it. Mom and Baby Girl (12 mos)
