I was scared when putting it together. It was a tad bit wobbly, but once you get it fully assembled it is sturdy and looks great. The shelves are not solid espresso, they are espresso colored wood-looking (like the wavy wood look). Still the same color and stuff will sit on them so not a problem, just a disclaimer.
This changing table is very Sturdy and the espresso color is beautiful it was extremely easy to put together it took less than 10 minutes. A lot of room for storage on the shelves. Perfect height not to short not too tall.
Fast shipping, easy to assemble-my husband couldn't wait to get this together. Now we can't wait to have our daugther December 16th and bring her home to a completed room, although it will be a while before she uses it, its still exciting. Love the look of the finished product.
We are very happy with this product. It's a great price. However, in saving money, you may need to remind yourself that the storage baskets you may want to purchase can be pricey depending on your taste. Also, we bought a thicker changing pad. But we are very pleased with it. It doesn't take up much space and it looks beautiful!
I was not planning to order a changing table but I got it as a bundle with the crib and I am very happy that I did. I love this changing table! It is gorgeous! Such dark rich color and a wonderful quality for the price!!
We purchased the Baby Cache crib in Espresso from BRU, but didn't like the chest of drawers style changing tables that matched it. I wanted a shelf-like design so I could use baskets, etc. Found this one (and by the way as much as $22 cheaper than at other major stores, with free site-to-store shipping!) and liked the way that the arches on the sides matched the back arch on our crib. I was worried about matching the stains, but figured, I could easily return if it didn't work out. Item was in the store in less than a week. It took about 15 minutes to put together. At first, I thought the shelf pieces were black stain, while the frame was espresso, but it was just due to the different texture of the wood and the way the light reflected off of it when you're looking at it laying out in pieces. Once it's together, it all blends well and looks great. And better yet, a PERFECT match to our crib (and the glider... FYI, we have the standard Dutailier espresso finish if you were wanting to try and match). Folks have complained about quality and sturdiness, but I'm not sure on what circumstance that would be based. Once put together, I shook the bejeezers out of the thing, and it didn't budge. It's plenty sturdy. And the height is nice. I am 5'9" and while it might could be a little higher, that would probably make it a pain for someone shorter (i.e. Grandma!) to change the baby. I certainly won't have to stoop or bend. It looks great and, wow, for the price. Less than 80 bucks with free shipping. How do you say no? :)
Easy to assemble. Nice product. Comes with changing pad. Looking forward to putting to the real test in 4 months!
I love this changing table!! I actually didn't love it in the picture, I only purchased it because it matched the crib (I bought the Graco Freeport 4-in-1 crib). In "real life" for some reason the design looks much better to me. The quality is really nice and it wasn't very hard to put together. It seems very study and I am overall impressed with it. The storage shelves are great and the wood is very pretty. I wish it was a little less expensive. I couldn't afford to by the combo with the crib so I had to buy everything separately which made it all kind of pricey. FYI it comes with a pad. It's not super thick or nice but it gets the job done. I wasn't sure if it came with one or not so I purchased one and now I have to take it back. The changing pad cover I bought that matches my nursery fits the pad it came with perfect.
Very easy to put together, took @ 30 mins for a 5 1/2 month prego. I like the look of it and it's very sturdy. I only gave it 4 stars as the 2 bottom shelves are a little thin. I only plan on putting baskets in there with socks and diapers so will work fine.
In my opinion it's a bit pricey for something so basic, but it's sturdy and that's what counts for me. It comes with a changing mat, but it's really flat and something that is a little too big for the changing table. So I'm just going to replace it with my own changing pad. The style of it matches the crib nicely, though the staining doesn't match perfectly which is expected, but it's not so off that it's noticeable. The shelves aren't flimsy and hold a decent amount of stuff which I was worried it would be the opposite. Overall it's a great product.
