It's big enough for her to play in but doesnt take up the whole room. She's 8 months old & she has room to play & I also use it as her bed. It could use extra cushion though but its also lightweight enough for u to move around but stable enough that she can't flip it over. When I put her in there I don't have to worry about her fallen out (we had a bedside sleeper & then she started standing up in it). Speaking of which this also doubles as a bedside sleeper for newborns. So new mommies no bending over while u r still healing. I will be holding on to this because I expect to have another child or should I say hope. It doesn't have any special features except see thru screen. If u were looking for a side pocket to hold toys, ect. it doesn't have it.
My 10 day old son LOVES this pack and play! He's sleeping in it through the day and night next to our bed. He is just starting to open his eyes enough to see the rhino's hanging and occasionally he'll reach for them. I set this up by myself when I was 8 months pregnant with EASE! Just read the directions and follow them and you'll have it set it in NO TIME. It's very easy to take down and re-set up for traveling. Couldn't be happier with it!
This item was very easy to set up. I had no problems at all. The color was even better than the picture. We will be using this for our new grandson and it is exactly what we need.
My girlfriend had a baby boy her first baby and wanted a pack n play, so I got her this one. After she got it she called me to tell me Thank You so much, it is so Great! The baby loves it, he sleeps in it for his nap times during the day. He loves to play in it. Her baby did not like sleeping in his crib, or bassinet or just about any where so when she told me he was sleeping in it that was the best to hear.I would say to anyone looking that this is Great deal all around!
I purchased this item for my 7 month old niece. Really nice color can be used either for a boy or a girl. This product required some minor assembly but was very easy to do just follow the instructions. This item is of a good quality and looks exactly as it does in the pictures on their website. When it is in use it does not take up much room and also has 2 wheels for easy moving from room to room. For me this item is not in use all the time it is easy to fold down and compact. It comes with it's own bag for storage. Because of its compact size it can be easily stored under a bed or in a closet. If you are travelling with your baby you can easily take it along with you for use while on your trip especially if where you are staying does not provide cribs. The weight of this item is 22lbs so you can also pack it in your luggage for travel overseas. I am really happy with my purchase. I would however recommend that if your baby is creeping or can stand on their own that you do not use the mesh liner that comes with this item. This piece is for newborn or a very young child.
If my daughter had known this great pack 'n play could substitute so well for a bassinette, she wouldn't have spent a bundle on hers!! Her son was in the bassinette for just a few weeks and then went to this pack 'n play. If you want to save money and want something which you can use for a much longer period of time, this is it! It is well-made, compact in size, easy to set up, and can be rolled from room to room. For the price you cannot go wrong, and again, if you wish to save some money, get this and not the bassinette.
I was very impressed with the ease of set-up and use on this simple portable crib/playpen. I've cared for many children, and truly the other beds out there, with fancier features that are far more expensive, are not necessary. Trust me, if you are concerned about it being matchy-matchy with your other gear...you won't care about any of that when baby comes. It has a nice neutral, non-obnoxious pattern. This portable crib/playpen is durable (I set it up and down daily) and the full-size bassinet feature is very handy for younger babies. I do agree with some of the other reviewers in that if you were to use the bassinet or bed as a full-time bed it is much nicer to put a thin sheet of bed foam (like they use in the NICU...I buy twin-sized "egg crate" style bed foam and cut it to fit and cover with a fitted portable crib sheet) for added comfort and cushion. I had no issues with the bassinet being flimsy or folding in the middle. I feel that if you are installing it correctly it has adequate support for an infant. Overall, very good value and served it's purpose well!
We purchased this playard for our second baby. Our first one was a different brand and the leg broke 2 weeks before my due date. This is an excellent playard for the money. There aren't a lot of frills but it had the bassinett and it is lightweight. It is a little darker than the pic shows but we didn't care about that. My newborn sleeps in it and it is sturdy. That's what matters to us!
I was looking for something for my 6 month old to play in while I did chores and that's what I got. I don't know about the bassinet part since my son exceeds the weight limit. The product is very easy to set up. I noticed a few negative reviews in that area and I don't see why. You snap to sides in place BEFORE you push down the middle and you should be all set. As for taking it down pull up the middle then push the buttons on sides and there you go!
We were disappointed in the bassinet. We got this to use in our bedroom for our little guy until we moved him into his nursery into the crib. After sleeping in the bassinet for two weeks after he came home from the hospital it started to sag in the middle. I moved him into his crib sooner than I wanted to due to this. If using the bassinet part I would not recommend. If using for play pen only then it is a great buy for the money.
