Heavy, sturdy wood. Fine furniture quality at a great price. The lockable wheels on the bottom are a great feature. The wood is a little redder than it appears in the picture but not enough to dislike it. Easy to put together. The pieces are not labeled so make sure that you pay attention and put the wider pieces of wood(where the slats fit in ) on the top. All the other pieces are the same size.
The changing table is very sturdy and functional. There are 2 additional shelves that handle all the extras you want to store and have handy for a baby.
I bought this to go with a Baby Cache crib I bought from another place and from the picture I thought this would match the color but the crib I have is actually a lot darker of a Cherry. This is probably more of the real Cherry finish most are use to though. It is a nice look and I probably should of just gotten the crib to match it and saved a lot of money because it probably is just as nice. This was flawless when it arrived and I thank God because Graco is a hard company to deal with when having problems with furnishings. Over all pretty glad with my purchase just knocked off a star because color did seem to be the same as pic though still a nice dark cherry but more of a red tent then the pic. Oh and the wheels on the bottom to move around on my hardwood floors even when locked... just wanted to point that out because it can be annoying but still it is a great highet and looks nice!
