BONUS Xbox Live 3 Month Live Card included for online game play The Plot - Grand Theft Auto IV is a brand new adventure in the GTA universe following the experiences of Nikolai "Niko" Bellic, a new immigrant from an undisclosed eastern European country whose troubled past and the persuasion of his cousin Roman have brought him to the fictional Liberty City. Unfortunately, Niko's search for the American Dream and a much needed fresh start, hits an immediate snag when the rags to riches story Roman spun to pique Niko's interest is exposed as not only a complete fabrication, but a ploy to enlist Niko's well-known skills as a tough guy against the ample list of enemies clamoring for Roman's debt-ridden blood. Because Roman is the only person Niko knows in Liberty City he begrudgingly accepts his role as Roman's protector despite the deception. But as time goes on Niko comes into his own, and his experience on the wrong side of the tracks proves more valuable than he could have ever imagined as he fights for survival and later supremacy on the crime ridden streets of Liberty City. Game Environments - Based on several of the boroughs of New York City and parts of New Jersey, Liberty City, familiar to players of previous games in the series, has been entirely redesigned for GTA IV. Players can expect visible detail down to the weeds growing in the cracks in the sidewalk, cars and buildings of visibly different ages and a much greater level if verticality in the buildings and bridges that they are able to explore as Niko moves through the city streets. In addition, pedestrians in GTA IV are much more realistic. No longer simply moving cardboard cutouts, these NPCs are intelligent, modern, human representations that laugh, cry, eat, drink, use cell phones and As, and talking amongst themselves regardless of Niko's interaction with them. Game Play - Historically GTA games have focused heavily on mission-based play, requiring successful completion of fixed tasks in order for players to progress through the game, but this has changed to a great extent in GTA IV. Players will experience an entirely new and exciting emphasis centered on the blending of on-mission and off-mission play, resulting not only in an increased sense of realism, but more interesting and unrestricted game play. Multiplayer Mode: - With classic death match and co-op missions combined with cops-and-robbers and mission-based objectives, the multiplayer component of GTA has a wealth of content to offer. Accessed by pulling out your mobile phone at any time during the single-player game mode, a small LCD appears at the bottom right of your view, and in one of the many small touches in the game, different players see different mobile operator logos on their home screens. From here, you can choose to enter the multiplayer game, at which point your single-player progress is saved and your console accesses its online network.

This game is very very good. The graphics are spot on and it's very very detailed. You're not going to finish this game in a few hours. No matter how good you are. Having said that, this game absolutely deserves the adult rating. It's really not for kids. Or even to be played within earshot of children. Lots of cursing, crude language and gratuitous x-rated activities.
This game kept the GTA series interesting and fun. It does a very good job with the story line and keeping the gamer interested with its change in scenery and missions. The detail is unmatched. Very fun to play and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great game.
The graphics in the game are incredible. Great story line and very entertaining. I definately recommend this product for anyone over 16 years of age, because due to the graphic content it may be innapropiate for some gamers.
Received game today, and I am thrilled. Wal-mart got it to me in the time they said they would, and since the 3 month gold card is a 10 dollar value, it's a great deal. Bottom line: Buy this game now!!!
I love this game, its better then I thought it would be. The graphics are amazing and the story line is really good. There is so much to do and so many new aspects of the game that you never run out of things to do.
It arrived late in shipping but who cares I saved $20 for having to wait a few days, I`m back on XBL and the game is great.

After ready many reviews touting GTA IV as the best game ever, 10s across the board, I was very excited about getting the game. I'm playing through it now and enjoy it very much but it is far from perfect. Here is the good: great story, huge sandbox world with non-linear gameplay, your decisions impact the way the game unfolds, the cinema breaks are amazing, the characters are very believable and the amount of damage and destruction you can cause is as limitless as your imagination. The bad: the missions are a bit repetitive, the controls are not smooth--particularly with driving, I found drifting around corners next to impossible, the graphics are good but not great and fighting is somewhat boring and repetitive. Overall it is worth the buy because there are so many areas to explore and things to do but I disagree with all the 10s I see being given the game. I give it a 7 or 8 at best. The biggest selling point for me was that when you buy it online you get 3 months of xbox live for free. I had it delivered to my house for an extra dollar and change and it was there in 4 days.
