Love how this Peanut Butter is so smooth and creamy. it spreads smoothly on my bread and tastes great 😃😃😃
We decided to try the Great Value brand of peanut butter because of the price and found that it is just as good as the Major Brand names peanut butter. If you read the label you will find that the nutritional values are the same or even better than some other brands. It tastes just as delicious. The lower costs is well worth giving it a try and you probably will find that the only thing you are giving up is higher costs and a major brand name.
The only complaint I have about this peanut butter is that the container is not bigger. This 40 oz jar of brown, liquid gold makes all other brands fail in comparison. They say choosy moms choose Jif, but choosy dads choose Great Value Creamy. I'm not usually a morning person, but this peanut butter changed my life and now I am. Each day I wake in anticipation before my alarm goes off just so I can wake up, twist off that red lid three quarter rotations to the left, and plunge my butter knife in at a 48 degree angle. My one dying wish would be the bathe in a tub of this peanut butter, and I know that day will come.
You just can't beat the price of it. I grew up in a strong Jif household, but had to start making better price choices when I moved out during high inflation. This peanut butter makes me question the whole peanut butter industry, because it's the same quality, if not even better than some name brands, but it's so so much cheaper. I don't see myself switching back to name brand peanut butter even if I win the lottery!
This has a deeper, better flavor than JIF. Once I ate this, then ate JIF again, the JIF tasted artificial in some way that I hadn't notice until I had a different kind. I won't buy name brand now. This also has fewer calories and seems to have a thicker consistency, so i dont use as much on a sandwich.
Tastes as good as the popular brands, so is a good deal for the price. I wish they could make healthy natural peanut butter with nothing in it but peanuts for close to the same price per pound. I can't under stand why peanut butter made from just peanuts & nothing else added, cost so much more than regular peanut butter where they drain off all the peanut oil, replace it with unhealthy hydrogenated oils or other unhealthy oils, then add sugars, & all sorts of other nonsense. To just mash up peanuts to make peanut butter & just pour it in a jar should be a lot cheaper than all this popular processed stuff, with the peanut oil removed, & all the garbage added.
Great Value peanut butter is just as tasty to me as Jiff, Peter Pan, I like it the kids eat it by the quart. On a P.B.J. it's great and when used to make s'mores I out eat the kids then. For the price it's great.. James W...
I usually buy Peter Pan peanut butter but I have always enjoyed Great Value in the 64oz jar occasionally as well therefore I decided to purchase a couple of jars with my most recent grocery delivery and of course they were not available so I agreed to accept 3 40oz jars as a substitute. Big mistake and an extreme disappointment. The peanut butter is waxier and grittier in texture for some reason and I absolutely hate it. Never again and from here on in it will be strictly Peter Pan for me.
The top of the jar was cracked and some of it was missing. now that the order has. een here a few days I can't return it, I'm assuming and once it's opened it won't stay fresh
Goods were delivered at the gate of the apartment complex not in front of my unit. It's good I was able to check it out… Your records will show that I always order goods from Walmart and this is the first time that I experienced this. It so happened that I'm having an asthma attack that's why I ordered the goods online. Carrying the items from the gate to my unit aggravated my asthma.
