I was pleasantly surprised to see that Great Value color safe bleach was comparable to Clorox 2! It worked just as well as Clorox but is a much better value!
Works just as good as Clorox 2.
I love this product. When compared to Clorox 2 I feel it does a better job of brightening your clothes without the bleach side effects over time. (Clothes don't fade as much as with the other product)
This product worked better than expected. I was pleased that a tough spot came out the very first time.
I like lavender if it's available. But will settle for others. (I won't be around it as it is in the washing machine.)
I have four small children who love to make messes and I throw a capful of color safe bleach into every load of their laundry. It gets out some of the stains I forget to "pre-treat." This is a great product at a great price.
I have been using this for awhile. I like the scent and feel that my colored fabrics are not as faded as before.
Great product
I'm always willing to try Walmart's brand of products in order to save money and have found many to be as good as the more expensive brand-name items. This product WORKS just fine, BUT it has one flaw. I kept noticing a fishy, foul-smelling odor in my laundry room whenever I was doing laundry. My washer empties into a laundry sink and then into the drain pipe, so I thought it might be the filtering nylon over the drain hose. I changed that...no luck. I would smell the odor when the water was emptying into the sink, but it didn't smell every time I washed a load of laundry, just now and then. I could not track down the problem and even began to think that the problem was with my front-loading washer. I had been using this product on my color washes only (which is why I only smelled the odor during some loads) and then for one reason or another I stopped using it for a few weeks. Then I did a load of wash and that horrible fishy smell came back. Bingo! I had used the Great Value "Fresh Scent" Color Safe Bleach, and that smell was evident when the water drained. When you put your nose up to the bottle, it really doesn't smell too bad, but when it mixes with water and drains, there it is. I also took a whiff of the detergent dispenser after I put this product in, and then I could smell it. The good news is that the smell does NOT make the clothing smell bad. It leaves no odor at all. Not sure why??? Anyway, for this reason I am continuing to use up the product. However, I will not select this particular fragrance the next time I buy it. So if you are using this product and suddenly smell a foul odor in your laundry room, don't blame your washing machine.
It was leaking when I received it and didn't work at all to get out the stains that I wanted out. I don't think that it worked at all. Didn't even lighten the stain and little bit. I will not be buying this again.
