These are my absolute favorite Brownies..I would rather have them then the name brand anyday...I however haven't been able to fine them so I bought the name brand and was VERY disappointed .
These brownies are great. They are the only mass produced brownie available today that is similar to the style I grew up with in the 1960s and 1970s. The texture is very, very dense and quite thin. These brownies are pretty small, but super fudgy and really sweet. I only wish they had walnuts on them, but the mini chocolate chips prove a worthy substitute. I bought 12 boxes of them last week on special at 92 cents each. Great deal! My only complaint is only one Wal-Mart out of three in my area carry these brownies regularly. If you want old school brownies buy these if you can find them. The few other brands that make similar brownies all are really dry and disgusting.
I loce these Brownies, I honestly wish I could find them in my Wal-Mart stores they always seem to be out of them. I havenât had one since August and when I bought them, at that time, I believe I was the fortunate one and got the last boxes.
These are absolutely terrible. They taste like they are made of the same material as skittles, and seem nothing like "fudge" or "brownies" I think I would eat these if I were starving to death, but I would ask "you don't happen to have something better, do you?"
Will never buy again...paid $1.25 but was a waste of money...worth paying a little more for name brand than this tough cardboard-ish tasting "brownie".
I tried these brownies since they're a little cheaper than the Little Debbie ones, and any small amount of money counts when you're on a budget. I'm sad to say that even though many Great Value products are just as good if not better than their national brand counterparts, these brownies are not worth the savings at all. They taste like maybe if you left a box of Little Debbie brownies out to sit and get stale/lose flavor for about 25 years. I've had energy bars that taste better than this.
These taste like play-dough. I'm not kidding. The "chocolate" "chips" have the texture of laffy taffy. You can literally chew on these for several minutes before it dissolves. Something is really off on these. Terrible part is, I bought two boxes because they were only a dollar. Guess I'll have to take them into work and let twelve individual people unknowingly suffer by eating these.
These are the most horrible things I have ever eaten. I cannot even bring myself to call them brownies, they are so dry and absolutely tasteless. It makes me not want to try any thing else with Great Value on it.
Tried several times because they're cheaper than Little Debbie, but never again. Although the expiration date is 4/30/11, they are disgustingly stale. From now on I will pay a little more to get Little Debbie which are so much better.
It was only a buck, but I'm offended by the quality of this product. These things are terrible. Don't buy them. They don't look like they were cooked at a high enough temp. They are flat and hard-chewy. I want a refund.
