These bulbs are great! I was gifted a few and then purchased a couple more, as they are wonderful. They have 3 different modes to choose from and my favorite is the flame, as the ambiance they create is the best. I'm sure I'll buy more in the future.
The bulb isn't shaped like a flame so not attractive in the daytime. The bulb looks like there's fire inside of it. It's bright and does a bit more than flicker. Wasn't exactly the look I was going for but looks great for Halloween!

Emits a nice warm feeling and romantic fire flickering effect to cozy up and snuggle in a dark room.
I used it in a paper shade lamp and it looks really good and warm. It flickers on first click, then off, then warm on, then off. My picture looks good, not sure why when uploaded it's blurry. The light bulb is worth the price, Thanks!
Gives the illusion of a flickering flame. Flip your light switch off and back on to change to looping fade light or flip your light switch off and on again to change to a steady, warm glow. No app. download or remote control necessary. Steady mode seems to be a bit brighter than the other two modes. We use steady mode when better visibility is called for. Pay attention to the indicated dimensions of the bulb and measure your votive/light cover, if it's important to you for the cover to fit over the cyclinder shaped bulb. The bulb's metal base screwed into our outdoor light socket perfectly, but the glass bulb cover would not fit over the longer, cylinder shaped bulb. Still, looks very nice and not like anything is missing, due to the size and shape of the bulb. Looks just like a candle flickering in the old-fashioned type outdoor, wall-mounted lamp fixtures. I first saw flame bulbs in that type of fixture. Liked the look so much, I decided to try this kind of bulb at my own home.
It took a couple days for this bulb to start “flickering”. It was simply an orange light at first and I was disappointed. Then suddenly a couple days after it has been on- it started flickering as expected.
These are beautiful flame lights. We much prefer them to other brands aesthetically. However, when the temps dropped below freezing our lights wouldn't turn on. Once the temperature came back up they turned back on.
I bought this mostly for the flame feature. The color is slightly off, but the movement is good. I find the other 2 modes pretty boring. For the price though, I think it's pretty great!
I wouldnt say that the bulb itself looks in appearance like a realistic flame but the ambient light it gives off looks ok. There are 3 modes: solid, breathing (dim to bright), and flicker flame. I wanted a bulb that the 'flames' inside of the bulb looked ultra realistic but these flames were subpar
