Everything was intact and closed. Date is good, will be ordering again.
I somehow wasn't paying attention and I made a mistake and I didn't notice it until it was too late and my order was delivered. I wanted the regular mayonnaise but some how ordered the light mayonnaise. I was upset because I thought it was going to taste terrible and my special pasta salad was going to taste terrible. I decided to go ahead and take a chance and just make the pasta salad anyway. Then came the moment of truth; the taste test....well much to my surprise my pasta salad was delicious! So needless to say I was upset for nothing! I discovered that the Great Value Light Mayonnaise is just as good as the regular mayonnaise; if not even better! The light mayonnaise really brought out all of the flavors and it actually enhanced the flavors of all of the ingredients! The flavor is so rich for being light mayonnaise and the texture is so creamy and just much better, it tasted less salty too, it to me tastes the way delicious mayonnaise should taste! Hands down lite mayonnaise got my vote and I will never go back to regular mayonnaise.

We finally decided to try this after Hellmans Light went to $5 a jar and wasn't even available on sale for much less any longer...and we Love it! It's great for sandwiches and my wife, who is a chef uses it for cooking as well, when she doesn't feel like making her own mayo. It is extremely similiar to the Hellmans light, as you can see by the ingredient list and nutritional properties. It will not taste the same as any full fat mayo, and no light one will, but it tastes great and will help you live healthier and hopefully longer...
If you add the tiniest bit of vinegar to it, it would pass for regular mayo. I sometimes add a little lime juice. But it is good just the way it is.
Need to drop price on this mayo.
I didn't like that I order regular mayonnaise and was given light mayonnaise on an online order to be picked up. When I order a specific item I expect to get what I ordered or nothing at all. It should be my decision whether I want a substitution not the person filling the order!!!!
I thought this would taste similar to regular mayonnaise, it didn't at all, it was watery, tangy, disgusting, tasted more like Miracle Whip, which I think is gross tasting😝

I tasted just a little on the inside of the seal and within 10 minutes my throat, tongue gums went numb, I had trouble swallowing,, I've never used the light Mayo before, it tasted very bitter and slightly " stung" the back of my throat,, I use gv regular mayo all the time and no problems, I'm not prone to allergic reactions so ,, they said to drink milk and eat a piece of bread but really didn't help, after over an hour it's starting to subside a little but be really careful,, I think if I'd eaten a tsp I'd be in the emergency room!!
