Stevia is by far the best sweetener. It is derived from the stevia plant. Other "artificial" sweeteners such as Aspartame and Sucralose/Splenda are harmful. Saccharin was once considered to cause cancer...but only if you are a rat and drink 600 sodas a day. However, it is sodium saccharin, thus contains sodium which should be limited for most people. Stevia has a really sweet taste like sugar, and has no calories. I highly recommend it! I am diabetic, and stevia does not affect blood sugar.
This product is a great value for stevia. I am glad Walmart has it on their shelves. I use two in my morning coffee, or add it to cereals, etc., or any recipe calling for sugar.
Diabetic so have been using Splenda or 800 ct equal for the price. Found Equate the natural alternative to the expensive Truvia but at a comparable value to equal 800. I bought several boxes to maximize shipping but then discovered it was more convenient because I could take the 40 ct to work or store in car. Taste is not identical but why expect that when it's a different product? Still, was not hard to get used to the change. Used 3 equal per 16oz cup of coffee. Now use 2 equate stevia without noticing much of a sweetness change. Wal-mart shipped it fast, too.
I buy this every time I need sweetner for my coffee. Tastes great.
I had tried some name brand stevias and didn't like the taste or the fact that some left an after- taste. This one does not. I only need 1/2 a packet for my coffee The price is right.
I've been used long time ago and my sugar levels still right, drink my coffee make me happy but more using Great Value Stivia.
For those who cannot afford the other ones, this is a good substitute. I normally use Truvia, but was running low on cash, so I decided to try Stevia by Walmart. It's okay, but I prefer Truvia. It has a little bit of lasting taste in your mouth. Maybe I am just not used to it, but over all is a great substitue.
This was included in my pickup yet you are also sending a more expensive item by shipment which was not necessary.
As a Doctor, I am sad to tell you this is not Stevia but Erythritol (Sugar Alcohols which are correlated to heart disease in some studies). There is only very little Stevia (about 5%). As a diabetic, I am concerned about ingesting Erythritol. Proper label should be Sugar Alcohol with some Stevia. Please check ingredients label your self to confirm what I am saying
i just went to my closet to open package and noticed it was already opened and half empty, it was delivered for now on i will check much closer to the things i have delivered.
