I use this on my hair, skin, and as the base for my homemade toothpaste. Love it! My cat eats it, too. He's obsessed with CO.
Nice consistency good taste
I feed this to my pit nightly. It has helped soften his fur and moisturize his skin. He now has very minimal dandruff. His dandruff used to be so horrible. Now we only see some when he's stressed about weather. I mix it in his food and he gobbles it up so fast! I haven't tasted it, but it smells really good. It's said that unrefined is better for dos than refined. So this fits the bill perfectly. One jar lasts a little over a month.
I donât have a comment about this oilâs taste or level of âcoconutty-scent,â I make cold process soap with it, and it performs beautifully: That is, it produces volumunious large bubbles, hardness and an overall conditioning. Which brings me to a hot topic on this great, very reasonably priced oil: Yoo-Hoo! Iâve been using coconut oil for decades in soap making. THIS IS excellent VIRGIN UNREFINED COCONUT OIL!
This is an Outstanding Coconut Oil Source. The quality is superb. Price, delivery and customer service cannot be matched anywhere. This oil adds a delightful coconut flavor for those application below 350F. In fact, I combine this Great Value Unrefined Coconut Oil to Great Value Refined Coconut for those applications above 350F to prevent oil smoking. What a tremendous value!
Product is great but shipment is poor. Item arrived damaged, i have to store it without a lid.
There is something wrong with this. It's tastes rancid. I can't stress enough how dissatisfied i am, and returning it is a whole thing, so i'm out $15 because of the awful product. BEWARE. It literally tastes like vomit (i am bot exagerrating).
The jar of cocoanut oil had a crushed lid. I had to duct tape and super glue the lid all back together only because I need it badly. Did not have time to send back and reorder somewhere else.
This may not be Walmart's fault but the seal was compromised (open) and I don't want to use an unsealed food product.
I had to return this coconut oil. It has a rancid smell and taste that is nauseating!
