I send my children snacks every day. I don't like sandwich bags because they are too big for snacks, so when I saw these at the store I though they were the perfect size. I can pack crackers and fruit and I love how you can just press to close. They are just the right size for snacks. Plus 100 bags $2.48 is a reasonable price.
I have had no problems with the zip top on these. I have been using them for years to store my horses supplements in. The stable manager opens one a day and puts in bucket for me to reuse. I have reused some 4 - 5 times.
These are every bit as good as ziplock but much cheaper!
These bags are great for packing snacks, or for storing small items, without using a larger bag. The Great Value brand is a better deal than the others.
Convenient for adding snacks to our work lunch. Keeps the amount of food limited due the bag size, this is convenient as well in helping with portion size.
I've had no problem with these. I put a recipe's worth of dried herbs for Ranch Dip Mix (see allrecipes website, ranch II mix by dawnia). When we need ranch dip, just add 1C mayo, 1/2 C sour cream, and one packet of these premixed spices. I make up a bunch into these little snack bags, then put 5 or so filled snack bags into a larger sandwich or quart bag. No problems, but aware that this is a lightweight use. Enjoy!
These close but only after like 6 tries, they suck.
I have been using Great Value products for years and have found that in 98% of the time they are comparable or above quality of similar products; however, this was my first purchase of the snack bags. I have tried using them several times and only once have I been able to seal the bag. We are about to go out of town and I attempted to place some small items and "zip" them up. After several minutes of attempting to seal the bag, I gave up and put adhesive tap on it. I would not recommend them and will not purchase them again.
While I am usually very pleased with general Great Value products, this was a big disappointment. I got this since it was a few cents cheaper(and usually I don't see much difference between the cheaper Great Value products and more expensive "Brand" products.) and I thought(and hoped) it would be just as good. However, The "zip" would NOT zip securely AT ALL. This bag is absolutely USELESS. DO NOT BUY this.
I thought the price on these was great until I tried to use them. The 'zip' on these snack bags is useless and opens/spills everytime I use them. I end up with nuts, craisins, or whatever else in the bottom of my purse, backpack, etc. If you need a bag that actually closes, do not purchase these. They are not a bargain if they don't perform the intended funtion.
