I make my biscuits with this flour. Makes great biscuits!
I bought this to make two ingredient biscuits, this flour and heavy cream and they turned out great. Then I tried the three ingredient scones( this flour, heavy cream, lemon soda)and again they were good as well. So I'm like okay I'm a baker now and bought a second bag of flour and I was just doing scones with different variations. But these scones kept being salty, and I thought it was one of the different ingredients so after switching things up and nothing changed, I decided to taste flour, and omgosh it was SALTY. It was like 2 to 3 times the amount of salt that should have been in it if not more. This will ruin a recipe, and you will not even know till it's to late. I did not find out till two batches later. So I would not recommend because it is inconsistent. I still do the 2 and 3 ingredient recipes, I just bought a brand of flour that has been around for a while and made it self rising myself by adding 1½ tsp baking powder and ¼ tsp salt ( I did 1⅛) per 1 cup of flour. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because my first bag was fine.
i did not recieve my flour. this has happened numerous of times and i let it go but this is starting to be a problem i got charged for it but didmt get it
This has been one of my favorite flour for my baking and doughnuts. someone all over a sudden decides to add salt, 350mg per ¼cup! I usually use a bag and a half because I sell my products that I make. The first time i thought i messed up with the measurements, the second time I used unsalted butter but still it was salty. so today i added no salt, no butter but it was very salty. so i checked and realized they changed and started adding sodium. Very disappointed.
I've been buying this product for a long time. It's always been acceptable; until recently! Out of three bags I've bought in the last couple months, two have failed to rise! I can understand one "dud". But two out of three is unacceptable!!!!! My famous fluffy pancakes, were flat and heavy! Yuck! I know I could have returned the product for replacement or cash return. But that's a real pain. Shouldn't be necessary!!! Guess I'm gonna be buying a different brand from now on!!!!
I started buying this flour since my regular brand hasn't been available at Walmart. It's extremely salty and makes my food taste different. I will not be buying again.
tried making bagels and bread with this. did not add any salt and both otems were so salty they weren't worth eating. had a nice rise though for no yeast
this 5%23s of flour had a big gash, I'm guessing from hitting the salt bottle packed with it. It was a mess.
Full of bugs. Opened long before the use by date
The bag was busted down one whole side. Flour was out of the bag in the bottom. I used pickup, so it had to have been noticeable when it was put in my car.
