With our girls allergic to corn, rice, sot and gluten this flour is such a blessing. I was paying $10 for a mini loaf of bread that would only last 3 days. $40 to $50 a month just for bread! I found a vegan almond flour recipe online and I can get 3 loaves plus a cup out of this bag. The quality is good. It is always fresh and consistent in taste. The recipe calls for a few other things vut I still save money and get much larger loaved.
Taste every bit as good as higher priced brands. You get more product for less money. I will buy this again. I am on a low carb diet and I make many great things with this almond flour
I have never used almond flour before but I make a breakfast casserole every Sunday morning and I'm trying to be healthier. I include a lot of vegetables and the almond flour gives the egg casserole structure. I think it taste good and it works well! I would recommend this.
The product is great, I have used it before. However, when this was delivered, the side of the packaging was open so some of the almond flour spilled inside the walmart bag. So I quickly asked for a refund of this item and that was processed immediately.
I have baked often with almond flour, but using this almond flour resulted in a disappointing gritty texture in my cake. I later sifted the flour and found a significant quantity of coarse flakes of almonds. If you use this, I recommend sifting it first to remove the larger flakes of almond. I re-ground it in my Vitamix and sifted it to check for large pieces.
My almond flour has little brown/black specks in it. I dont think blanched almond flour is supposed to have specks in it. I assumed they were pieces of almond shell and I'm hoping they werent bugs since I used the flour.

GV products are usually very good quality and save me money but this us one I wont buy again and dont recommend I decided to go keto , this was such a good price I decided to try it for keto chaffles I make them once a week , it was ok, but kinda gritty I placed the GV almond flour in 2 air tight 1 lb containers , today i started to make my chaffles I noticed brown spots , and a small brown bug in each container I was disgusted ! It will be thrown away the expiration was 2025 I read some reviews about brown specks in some bags My suggestion return it or throw it away
This almond flour is not superfine as stated on the packaging! My chocolate cake batter looked like chunky dog food according to my fiancé. Once baked, it looked like hard dehydrated soil that has suffered through a thousand year drought. Do not buy unless you have time to sift and/or use a food processor to make finer grains.
“Great for cooking Gluten Free” on the front of the package yet it is processed in a plant that contains wheat. Very deceitful!! DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE GLUTEN FREE!!!
