Liked the handle and the dry pads that came with it BUT the wet pad is severely molded. The package was sealed too.
The handle and head on this are as solid as the name brand version. Or close to it. But it has a big problem with keeping the wet cleaning pads on the head after the first use. I tried bending back the "teeth" in the retaining holes to their initial condition, but it still kept on falling out.
The wet pad both came out the new package with black mold all over it.
If I could give this a 0, I would. Had it for less than a month and it broke. Cheaply made!!! Feels like a toy mop for a kid.
Major: The "strong steel telescopic handle" does not telescope. The point of connection between the handle and the head is thin plastic, and broke on the first session of use. Minor: The included wet cloth package was so full of cleaning fluid that upon removal of the wet cloth, there was a significant quantity remaining in the bag and the wet cloth was dripping everywhere. Among the worst designed products I've seen from Walmart's Great Value.
You cannot buy refills to fit this sweeper. Read the sizes on this box and on the refills. I would give this a zero. 8 x10 refills will not stay on while trying to use it. I called Wal-Mart and they are turning it over to QC which means nothing will happen.
I got this for mother's day. Decided to use it today and the handle broke right off at the bottom as soon as I started. I wasn't pressing hard. I was just going to spot mop. NOT worth $1 alone $7. DON'T BUY!!!!! It's a waste of money.
Wish I had read the reviews. I had a swiffer mop for many years. The handle broke off and I thought I could save a few bucks and got this great value.. DON'T BUY!! The wet floor wipes dont even stay on.... it is terrible and flimsy. I will go back to the Swiffer brand.
I bought this in October and the hanlde broke already. I was flimsy and a cheap mop
I thought I would save a little money because we just put new floors in all over the house. This thing is terrible!! I didn't even mind the handle not locking in place. I just wish the darn cloth would stay on and the flat part of the mop would stop flopping around!! I ended up on my hands and knees using the wet cloths to clean the floors. I do not now nor will I ever recommend this to anyone! It's useless.
