This tarter sauce has a great flavor and quality wise is right up there with the brand names
I had previously bought a bottle of Kraft tartar sauce, but did not like it at all! Decided to buy GV brand, %26 while it is not my favorite, it was MUCH better than Kraft, which I threw out.
This tartar sauce isn't bad. It has a thick and creamy consistency and has a nice flavor. I wish it packed a little more of a punch, but it's not bad as it is. I like using it on fish, and I do think it compliments my food well. Obviously my family and I have almost used the whole bottle, so it's good! The packaging works well will no leaks, and it's easy to squeeze out the portion that you want. I took off a star because I wish this wasn't a soybean-oil based product. I'd prefer it be another oil. But if that isn't a problem for you, this isn't a bad one to try and the price can't be beat!
I thought I would try it since I do eat a bit of fish . It wasn't over powering of dill could of used a little more flavor. It lacked something but for the price I guess can't ask for to much.
Deliberately late/ no damage
OMG! Im not a picky eater and grew up eating fish with tartar sauce but this stuff is NASTY! Threw most of it away. If I could walk better I would return for a refu nd. I've never eaten anything like this! Stay AWAY!

I've only found one tartar sauce I like. and you can't buy it commercially you have to buy it at a restaurant store. this is way too tangy and it has a horrible aftertaste It made my seafood just taste awful. I've had other Walmart products that were actually very good but this isn't one of them. Stay far far away from this.
This is one GV brand item I do NOT like. It looks okay, but the taste is overwhelmingly mayo with a ton of pickle relish! It honestly doesn't even taste like tarter sauce at all. I'll be returning this one for a refund %26 spending a little more for better quality.
