They look really good, however I have not tested them yet.
First off, thanks WM, for setting an expectation of Friday delivery and getting it here on Thursday. I check orders obsessively. These are square-shouldered tires that I purchased to replace the crappy, 2-ply factory tires ("the best-selling lawn tractor tires in America"). They are 4-ply, look and ride great, and are an upgrade from the 20x8-8 tires that shipped on my 2013 Cub Cadet LTX1050. I wanted the extra two inches of tread to eliminate the uneasy feeling I always had on a slight lateral grade in parts of my yard. Job done. Two points: I saw a lot of reviews that complained about fit, that they might be too small for the 8-inch rims. The spec is the spec. These are 20 inches across, 10-inch tread, fit an 8-inch wheel. Also, after seeing so many who had difficulty mounting these tires, I took mine to the farm supply store where I bought the Cub. For $32, the job was done right, the old were recycled, new stems, and 30 minutes of my time (including the drive) was well worth it. Green Ball tires were not found in any of the online reviews of tires I researched, but I am very well pleased with the purchase. Highly recommend.
Value for the tire was good compared to other sites. The biggest issue I had was getting the new tire to seat on the rim during mounting. With a 2-3 inch gap on either side of the tire makes it virtually impossible to get it to seat on the rim. I virtually used all known methods, straps, sprays no luck. After several hours of failures to get tire to seat on rim I decided to use 2 good sized balloons to inflate and spread inside of tire to get close to rim seat so I could inflate it. The party balloons worked. I had tire mounted in five minutes. Yes I used soap and rim seal. Balloons worked like a charm to spread the inside of tire to rim edge.. Yes you still need to inflate the Tire according to instructions. The balloons only assist in mounting tire. Food for thought.
If fit perfectly. We had it installed at a local car shop for $5. (Our small air compressor will not do the job.) I don't know why they insist on taping it the way they do. (And A LOT of the shippers do this.) They put tape around it so tight that it was squeezing and deforming the tire...makes no sense. I did remove the tape as soon as it arrived and left it sit in the Florida sun for a couple days, but it was still all wonky looking. I'm not sure if the shop had any problems. The original wonky shape did not affect how the tire has performed though. It's been over a month and no leaks at all. It performs perfectly and seems to be a good inexpensive tire. If I ever need another, I will purchase this one again.
I searched at multiple local locations for this tire with no luck. Found it on Walmart.com for less than anyone else with free shipping.
I purchased this item on line received it in three days. Best price for the quality of this tire.
The tire is great.I will order another for remaining old tire. What was even better it only took 2 days to free ship it to my home.
Looks alright picture is misleading I thought it came with wheel but it's just the tire
Tires were shipped crushed together which left a U in the middle of the tire and made it impossible to seat to the rim. After 21/2 hrs trying to seat the tire I took them to the tire store and after they fooled with them for over 2 hrs but finally did it and only charged me $10.00 a tire.
Wasn't what I thought. Doesn't fit like it should. Smaller than other tire. Don't no what country it came from. But not from around here.
