The tire is perfect for my troy bilt pony. I've had this mower since 2007 and had not replaced any tire until now. This tire was the right price and perfectly matched the factory tires.
Quality tire, fast delivery
Ok, we took these to a tire shop, of course, to get them on, because the usual method of the fire seal that pops real loud (whatever the proper term is) was not working. Well, ee get there and the tire shop uses the same method, of course, & after MULTIPLE tries, it takes FOREVER.. I'm guessing 40 minutes. They finally got one sealed, but we had to come back later for the other one. Basically, we all figured out that Walmart is storing them wrong & messing up their shape, so that it takes longer to seal.
I purchased two of these tires,they are a well built tire but they are a PIA to mount.The next tires I have to replace I will purchase them already mounted on rims.I worked 3 hours mounting,then took to a tire shop to inflate,they worked 30 mins inflating tires.
the tires are good .the only thing is the supplyer banded tire to gether and it mested up the shape of the tirers.couldn't mount them and get them to seal to the rims.had to buy tubes to put in them.another forty dollars. I will not order tirers on line any more.
The tire was left out in our carport with our neighbors dog for starters. It is misshapened not even in a box or anything. It will have to be put on a rim at a shop because it doesn't seal for me.
oh my gosh thes tires come smashed like 3 in thick set them in the sun with boards inside to stretch them out. could not get them to seal the bead with the tire so smashed. took to tire shop they gave up.took to second tire shop. picked them up next day. they look and work great once they are installed. but install cost may as well buy already on the rim tire. we tried everything. cheeta blaster. starting fluid. great tire if you can mount it up. ill never try it again.
This tire is in horrible condition. Hopefully it is ok after I get it mounted. Also didn't appreciate the 2.00 disposal fee I was charged when I still have to dispose of the old one myself.
It's not as much as the tire but the way it was shipped they were flat they were crushed they were horrible , they are also egg-shaped they were pushed in and pull out Shape . The way they were shipped it looked like a car fell on them !
This would have been a great bargain. However, the result was sub standard and not usable. I ordered 2 lawn mower tires but received two rubber masses in the shape of figure 8's. The package was zip tied with nylon bands then wrapped in plastic so when the tires arrived they were the shape of a squashed doughnut or figure 8. When attempting to mount these deformed tires on the rim I could not get them to seat on the bead or the rim. Returned them to Wal-mart for a refund. I found suitable tires at TSC but for almost twice the price. However, the TSC product did seat on the rim was the shape of a tire and are rolling around my yard now. I received a call from Wal-Mart and recommend that they review their shipping and packaging process. If you order these tires reject them if they don't look like a tire when you receive the tire.
