Cut through a 16" tree trunk at its base and several 7 more cuts on main tree trunk with ease. Eight cuts and the oil reservoir went dry. chain got slightly looser. Great power. light weight, quiet operation. Saved me hundreds of dollars from hiring a trees service.
After hurricane Zeta ripped through my town, I had no problem taking care of a 60'-70' fallen pine tree in my back yard. No need for professionals when I have a professional tool at my disposal.
loved everthing about it. my wood cutter always cuts a lot of my wood too long for my stove. Easy to fix with my eletric chainsaw. thank
We're an old couple, and live in the country. Lots of trees, so we needed something light and easy to handle. This is definitely light and small coming out of the box. We were a little uncertain at first. We put oil in it and tried it out. It cuts like you'd expect a chainsaw to cut. It went through a couple of 2 X 4s like they were butter. Then we tried a tree stump approximately 12". We cut through it twice with very little effort. If you're a lumberjack, get a big chainsaw, but for our purposes, this should do fine. Just one thing; these saws also use bar and chain oil. It keeps the chain lubricated, but it's constantly lubricating the chain, so you have to make sure there's oil in the reservoir. I'd suggest buying at least a gallon at the time. That should hold you for a while.
Great saw. Excellent price. Cordless models seem to be the rage but they develop problems faster. Keep `em oiled.
Love my new chainsaw. It's the perfect size & easy to manage for the many outdoor trimmings.
Bought this to cut down two medium sized trees in my yard. Worked as it should. More powerful than I thought it would be and cut through birch and pine trees with ease. Easy maintenance of bar and chain. Would recommend if looking for an inexpensive electric saw
No setup required other than adding chainsaw oil (not included ). Much easier and i believe safer than a gas version. Unless you are cutting down sequoias this should do the job. Note: 100ft extension cord max recommended.
like it but the chain is poor quality i have to replace it after a couple of uses
