This power cleaner is a big step down in power from the plug-in model I used previously but the easier setup means it is used more often. The battery lasts a good while and charges quickly. I am able to wash 1/2 of our 2100 square foot home on one charge. For this purpose, the washer works as well as the larger plug-in. The easier set-up means that I am able to use it for smaller tasks that did not warrant the hassle of setting up the plug-in.
No bulky hose line to the house spigot is the major reason I bought this tool. While the small hose to a bucket of water is a little unwieldy, it does the job. I wash a small section of my car with a soapy bucket then hose off the soap with this spray tool. It works great with enough spray power to get most of the bugs off. But most importantly, it saves water. Was able to rinse the soap off the entire car with only one bucket of water.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pressure washer for smaller jobs like washing your car or bike.
The tool was easy to assemble out of the box and very easy to use after. The only thing I would ask to be included is some sort of clip/clamp to use on the cord when using water in a bucket so the siphon stays at the bottom and doesn't raise above the water level.
I was in search of a power washer that was strong enough to attached dirt, maybe a light staining but still gentle enough to not damage the surface. Turns out, this was really not that powerful and was perfect for what I was looking for. I believe, as I was advised, anything stronger could damage a new vehicle's paint. This worked out as I use it to wash our vehicles and also our outdoor furnitures and playground. Additionally, it comes with an adaptor for different spray angles/options. I have a line of products from this manufacturer and really like that their batteries can be used along a number of equipment as long as it is the same voltage. I cannot recommend this model if you are looking to wash the exterior of your home or anything similar as it is really not powerful enough.
BEWARE. When using with a garden hose it may put extra stress on the quick connection on the unit and crack the connection. This is what happened to my unit. Greenworks replaced the unit. I have used the siphon hose without issues. I like the lower pressure as it is less likely to cause damage.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked good for 5 minutes, then hose fitting snapped off. Too bad poor design, otherwise good product.
Nozzle where hose attaches immediately broke. Didn't last more than 10 minutes and was completely unusable, thankfully I was able to return it. Very flimsy rubber and plastic and weight of the hose was too much.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After two uses, the water hose connector cracked and broken off. The connector was made of brittle plastic. I have not had time to call for a warranty replacement.
I was really stoked to get this tool; it is exactly what is needed to pressure-wash our building's PVC roofing (we live in the Northwestern US and have chronic moss problems). Unfortunately, the device arrived with a fatal flaw that went unobserved until connected to a garden hose via the snap-in inlet fitting. The snap-in fitting is plastic and looked a bit inconsequential and it turned out to be exactly thus. The first time I turned on the water, a tiny crack in the water inlet hose bib started spraying water all over me. Unfortunately, I didn't see the crack until after I'd turned on the water. But at least my wife got some entertainment out of the whole affair. It did pump some water through but, aside from me taking an inadvertent shower, it didn't seem like enough pressure. In the end I completed the task with another one of our, corded, Greenworks pressure-washer units - the 1600psi version. Completed the job in 40 minutes. I'll stick with the corded one. We've had it for years and it still gets the job done. Kinda bummed that the handheld one wasn't up to the task. The idea is a good one. Just need some design advice. Never attach a hose bib to a short, snap-in plastic fitting and have the other end be a handle. It's not going to work. I've returned the item for refund and I do not want a replacement; I didn't realize that the hose-bib snap-in fitting wasn't brass or bronze. If a tiny crack could explode like that I don't think I want this device.
