Only down side, is that the battery runs after about 30 to 40 minutes depending on speed/level you set it to. I'm going to bu another battery or compatible device to have an extra battery...
I am very impressed with this lightweight blower. The battery charges fairly rapidly and I have no problems holding the blower for a while. Its power is perfect for blowing leaves and anything else that comes in its path - and the battery lasted me until I finished the job. I am truly enjoying the craftsmanship and quality of products that Greenworks builds.
We bought this a month ago. We have a half acre so it could not be on a cord and I can't handle a gas powered one, too heavy. We have foxtails and those are incredibly dangerous to dogs. I week whacked them down and then sucked them up in this vac. It did the job and some. Some of the area was bone dry and nothing but dirt. I came in covered in dirt as it picked it up as well. I had a cloud because the bag does have air flow. The photo shows the foxtails trying to escape. I have to check my dog nightly before the sucking them up I would get 20-30 off of him and not just 3 in his paws. It works!
What I like the most is the variable speed that is convenient whether in tight space or open air where lots of leaves need to be blown away .
very pleased with this item so far. I was concerned that a battery powered blower would not have the power to meet my needs however this unit does great on my driveway and walkways. It seems to stay at full power for at least an hour. I don't how much longer it will go as I usually finish within that time. Its great not having to drag electric cords around !
I just got this product yesterday and couldn't wait for the battery to charge, Which took 2 hours for the first charge (to be expected). waited like a kid with a new toy on Christmas morning. after the charge I went right to work blowing our upper porch area that fills with leaves, property covered with trees. this product was great to carry thru the house no worries about gas smell. afterwards went outside to do the driveway which is about 200-250 feet long. Blower handled the driveway with leafs that were also wet from the light rain we had this morning. blower still had about half charge when done. went to work today and got a message from my wife and said that she again blew off driveway again(remember yard covered with trees) said she loved the blower "easy, peasy, and lite" was her comment. says she loves the weight and ease of using, finally have a tool in the house she can use. I cant wait to use my chainsaw that I got. Will continue to get Greenworks tools if they all are as good as this blower. Would like to add their 80V Backpack Blower as you can see the amount of trees!!!!
I use this item to clear my patio and also to clear leaves off of chopped rubber bark under trees. It works well for both jobs. Seems to hold a charge just fine. I've used it three times for about 10 minutes and I have not needed to charge it again yet. I did fully charge it before using it for the first time.
Works good now, had trouble in the beginning getting battery to a full charge. It doesn't like to work as well when the humidity is high.
I bought this item December 1,2020. Because of equipment failures, I have used this product about 2 weeks out of 5 months for battery failures & charger failures. I would like to have money returned. Basically, a piece of crap.
Works great before the fan gives out, but this is now the 2nd one to blow out in a couple of years (maybe 3?). Both failed exactly the same way: the fan is not very well attached to the motor axis, and eventually wears out, jamming the motor and ceasing working. Don't buy this model.
