[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The saw end is a little heavier than I thought it would be, That being said, I am a female with not much upper body muscle, but I was able to use the saw for several hours. Seems to have good battery life. I would buy again and recommend to a friend.
Plenty of zip on the chain speed with 80V running a small 10" bar, so the cutting power is excellent. Definitely helped clear out the lower brushy trees, which the biggest thing is it will cut down on the number of trees I need to climb to limb up for fire safety around the house. Less time climbing trees is a win in my book (inverse relationship to 10 year old me).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chain popped off a couple of times. Easy to reinstall and tighten up. Cuts great with plenty of power. The shoulder strap is a must Vince this tool is a bit on the heavy side.
this little machine works great for cutting little branches. The only complaint is that the chain becomes dislodged quite a bit no matter how tight you make it
Finally used it today and it is a nice pole saw. Not too heavy, the chain did break the first time i used it. It is a bit difficult to take the extensions off. Hoping to get another chain on soon and try again.
Good tool for trimming trees. Trimmed five (overdue) palm trees within a day. Had to climb about 15 -20 feet on a ladder (with my son holding the ladder), then hold up the pole saw to reach the palms. The pole saw was a little heavy. Had to break every 5 - 10 minutes trimming then let it rest on the shoulder strap for about a minute. Only about half the battery was consumed.

This is an open box item. Not new if you purchase online.
Received the saw today package seemed repackaged and the battery will not charge, so returning it tomorrow so disappointed, don't they test it before packaging and shipping what a shame was looking forward using this tool.
Got the saw today. Like someone else said, it looked repackaged. I followed all the trouble-shooting directions on the battery. The light is blinking red. I took it out, waited a minute. Didn't work. Unplugged, waited a minute. Didn't work. Then I tried calling Greenworks, and that's when it started to get fun. After waiting on hold for some time, I opted for their call-back option. One hour and twenty minutes later with still no call, I decided to try again. No one answered, and I waited on hold for 10 minutes. Nothing. That's when I finally decided to try their AI "Expert" Vivian. Oh, she is so helpful. Not just an expert. A genius! We spent a wonderful 10 minutes going in circles without her able to do anything for me. Terrible experience!
