I have an iPod Touch and this Griffin charger, coupled with a tape deck audio adapter, works great in my 2005 Toyota Sienna (which doesn't have auxiliary audio in). I have my iPod playing and just leave it plugged in when driving. The green light around the charger is nice for knowing you have a good connection.
I wanted a product for my iPod that would allow me to charge it in the car and play it at the same time. This one does. I think it may even play through the speakers, but I don't know how to get that to happen, because there were no instructions! Nonetheless, I got the product I wanted and it works beautifully!
