I bought the tow strap 1 month ago and use it to drag logs and limbs with my artic cat 650 CC 4 wheeler. Very pleased with the quality and the strength of the strap. Plan to buy another one to use with my tractor
This was an especially good purchase for me because I got it on sale and was also able to use a discount coupon for extra savings. These are always useful to have around. I have more than 1. I have used them for a number of tasks besides pulling out a stuck vehicle.
I purchased it a few weeks ago to have it available if I needed to pull something or to have my truck towed. Haven't used it yet, but it should do the trick.
When they said "heavy duty", they meant it. This strap is 4" wide x 30 ft. long. I use these around the farm, and this "monster" should pull or tow anything I need moved. Very happy with it. Very happy with the quality, and the price. It was manufactured by GRIP (Grand Rapids Industrial Products)
Heavy duty and works great!
It's summer now, can't use it till winter, I'm sure it will be fine. I have another one in another vehicle, they work well. Unlike a chain you can tug on these a little without breaking it. I've used the other one many times, you will be satisfied with it.
We used these toe straps on ash trees that have been diseased by the emerald ash borer. We hooked two straps together abd wrapped them around the base of the tree. After felling the tree, we used a Mahindra tractor with the tie straps attached to pull 40 to 50 foot lengths of trees up hills to be able to cut log lengths. Very sturdy considering the weight of the trees being hauked
Purchased a couple of months ago and used it to pull some dead bushes out of my yard. Talk about fast and efficient, it would have taken hours to cut these bushes out. I have not used it to tow any vehicles but the strap is heavy duty and much safer than a chain. WINNER!
I haven,t had to use this strap yet but it seems very sturdy and is priced less than smaller straps. I only give it a 4 because I haven,t had to pull anyone or be pulled yet. I,m sure it will do the job when the time comes!!
I had an old barn I needed to get on the ground so I could remove the metal roof and burn. I used the strap to tie on to weak areas of the barn and pulled with my tractor. It did fine at this task although it was starting to get ragged towards the end. I was probably much harder on it than what it was designed to do. Overall I give it a good rating at least for this particular task.
