We bought this because our nursery has poor insulation and is very drafty. We have since insulated the windows but it remains drafty. This little guy will be a lifesaver!
Every room in our house seems to have a different temp. I am so glad I can look in my baby's room to check the room temp anytime. No more guessing.
Very happy with this thermometer. It will also serve as a night light. The only thing is that I wish it was battery operated, this way I could move easier to other places. It has to be plugged in at all times.
I live in an apartment complex where the heat is regulated and set for all units, we were concerned being on the third floor and with heat rising, and it becoming too hot for having a newborn. So I found this on pinterest and on Walmart.com and we bought it. I'm not sure how accurate it was because we didn't have thermostat but id say decently accurate. I like the color changing. We stopped using it because we could never get it to move more than 2-3 degrees and I was sick of looking at red. But I like it otherwise. We will retry to use when we move soon.
I don't believe the temperature is very accurate, it stays on orange. I also think it would be better if it was battery operated or the option to be battery operated.
I couldn't be any more unhappy with this thermometer. When I plugged it in and pressed the button on the bottom to turn it on it would flicker on briefly and then turn off again. Once every 5 or so times I hit the button it would actually stay on, but would show that the temperature was 77 degrees, regardless of where I put it. 77 degrees in the upstairs of my house, 77 degrees downstairs (where our thermostat said it was actually 69 degrees), and even 77 degrees in my unheated detached garage with 50 degree weather outside. Will be sending it back immediately.
