I was excited to find this product online because it is adorable but since receiving it, I am somewhat disappointed. They did not pre-drill one of the holes properly and the wood split when we were assembling it. Also the hinge does not line up properly, so the top will never shut. It always sits up about an inch and it drives me crazy. Maybe someone more skilled could have fixed that, I don't know. This is the third toy box we have purchased and we did not have this problem in the past. For $100 I would have expected more. We received ours a few days before Christmas, maybe we just got a bad one.
My daughter got this for her 3rd birthday and we were soo excited for it. When we got it, we were very dissappointed.. The screws that came with it were bent and couldn't use some of them, the lid to it doesn't even open up all the way, some of the wood split when it was put together, and there is no way even part of her toys are going to fit in it. I am going to return it and get a different one. I really think it's cute, but it's not worth what was paid for it.
