This toybox is solid with a safety catch so it doesn't hurt a youngster. It is nicely painted and should last many years.
I absolutely love this toy chest. We got it as a present and put it together this past weekend and it is just adorable. We are going to do our unborn sons room in safari animals and this toy chest is perfect. It is a little pricey for my taste and I probably wouldn't have spent that much money on it. However, it was a gift. It also is a lot bigger than what is seems like on the website. I also love how when you go to close it, it does not slam shut. It either stays open completely or comes down gently.
this is an excellent toy chest. very durable, hardware is high quality. well made piece of furniture. safety close so doesn't slam on toddler's fingers. they thought of everything on this one. the art work is also nicely done.
