This great bass guitar came to us directly from Guild as a grade B1 blem because of a few minor cosmetic flaws . We couldn't really find any flaws on it but on the Guild inspection tag it said "METAL FLAKES UNDER FINISH ON WAIST". It looks amazing, plays great, and we are selling it at an amazing low price. Because it is still a B1 Blem, we are selling this great guitar at a super low price. This guitar has been fully checked out for function at Guild. The Starfire Bass II originally debuted in 1967, shortly after the single-pickup version, and quickly garnered a following that included Jack Casady (Jefferson Airplane) and Phil Lesh (Grateful Dead). The addition of the BiSonic BS-1 neck pickup on the Starfire Bass II gives bassists a warmer, smooth sound for added tonal flexibility.
