works great on thick and caked up grease doesn't fall off like the generic Walmart version and isn't made out of water based like the walmart brand doesn't move at all leave on for about 20 minutes and then use a pressure washer or high powered garden hose nozzle unlike the other review i had no problem with mine u have to shake the can for a good minute or 2 first plus there review did not tell anything about how the product worked or preformed they could have taken it back and got new ones nothing's perfect these days and they probley didn't shake it correctly at first.
I saw this product being used by the members of Roadkill Garage on the Motor Trend channel. They bought and tried all three versions of the Gunk brand engine degreasers. They were using a heavily greased up 440 Mopar engine and the conclusion was the Gel version worked by far the best. This was due to the clinginess of the product to the surface, it is thicker and doesn't run off immediately. Thus allowing it to soak in and work better, my results confirm this. This stuff will remove all the but the thickest of grime from you parts. Heavy thick grime will need scraping of course, I am talking thicker than say 1/16 inch. Very happy with this degreaser and highly recommend.
I pretreated the bottom of my flip flops with Oil Eater Cleaner Degreaser Professional Strength Concentrate and Purple Power (4320P) Industrial Strength Cleaner and Degreaser after attempting to remove the grease and grime with Gunk EBGEL Engine Brite GEL HD Engine Degreaser and Gunk EBT32-6PK Engine Cleaner and Degreaser. The first picture is the before and the second picture is the after. As you can see, minimal gunk and grease was removed. These products are such a rip off. It is literally like using a Formula 409 dud.
Bought 2 cans. Both of them plugged up within 2 or 3 seconds of spraying.
