Exactly as described. Completely satisfied with product. Only problem was the remote did not work but this was promptly remedied by sending a new one.
This was the most affordable AC available and I was concerned about its efficiency. I have no complaints, it exceeds my expectations. I turn it on in the morning and it takes about 15minutes to cool the living room and you can actually feel the air throughout the apartment.
I really like this a/c. It cools my place very quick. I love the remote control and timer. For the value I gave it 3 stars, because it was alittle pricey. But, overall I'm happy with this purchase.
Works good even in the lanai, 12'x18' with lots of tinited glass and only 2 Inch insulation in walls and 3 inch in ceiling. Runs awhile to kool but makes it very comfortable. In humidity mode works great. Needed a 230 volt model to run cheaper, than 110Volt model. And had only so much space to fit in. Energy mode works well, set it and forget it. Also very quite.
The air conditioner is great, however it didn't come with the 4-sided sleeve REQUIRED to install it through the wall. When I called the company, they had no idea what I was tallking about. After speaking with several associates, finally found one that knew something. Sleeve was sent but took an additional 2 weeks and $100....
I needed a very specific AC and this one fit the bill. The 220V, with this dimension, and the exhaust on the rear of the AC (not the sides) were all needed to fit for what I had. Walmart's 97 cent shipping came in about 5 days (can't beat that) and install was not an issue. Bought two of these. One for a medium size bedroom (more than enough for that with 10,000 BTU on the low setting) and one for the dining/living/kitchen which takes up the one side of the house. No issues cooling off the three rooms that span over a 60 ft x 18 ft area. (temp outside has not gone over 90 yet and i have not had to use the high setting yet; medium seems to do the deal to keep it comfortable) Only thing I do not like is the temperature gauge and the energy saver mode. The energy saver mode turns off the unit when it reaches a certain temp. However, both temperature gauges are off once the AC turns on. In a room where you are only running the fan, the AC displays the proper temperature. Once the AC turns on, the room temperature drops to some number in the 60s and does not reflect temp in the room. Woke up to some very hot nights in the room and woke up to some very very cold nights in the room. Seem to have figured out the good setting after playing with it for several nights.
