just installed today with haier wall sleeve. Looks great and working perfect. Had to have contracter to cut out hole in wall as there was no window in the room and not enough room for a window
The product works great, however since it is a "Through-the-Wall Air Conditioner" it should come with the wall sleeve. A wood wall sleeve built by the customer is unaccepable, because of condensation from the evaprative coils. The wall sleeve needs to be made of aluminum or steel. I built mine out of steel, it works great. However, most customers will not have the tools to build a steel wall sleeve.
