This is a true compressor based mini fridge. It has two presets, one for white and one for red wines. There is an interior light, but its not very bright. The cellar has clean and minimalistic looks. It won't stand out nor detract from a rooms looks. I have to say that I am quite impressed so far with the performance, but it's only been one month. My last cellar was one of those peltier effect electronic coolers. Most cellars at this price point are that style. I have had nothing but trouble with that type of cooler with power supplies dying or the cooling element eating itself. This cellar is a heck of a bargain. Get the in store delivery option and save the shipping and its even a better deal!
This is a great unit for small wine collections or for simply convenient wine storage, as in a bar area. The unit can actually hold up to 26 bottles. It is packed very well and arrived with no damage. Overall, this is a good product and very competitively priced at Wal-Mart.
