My son really like this Spartan Locke figure it is made well not cheap plastic. He really liked the fact it came with a lot of accessories and he could move the figures arms and legs. We chose the blue but comes in various colors. Great toy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My son absolutely loves this Halo Spartan Locke Figure. It's a very high quality toy and durable. He loves that it has attachable accessories to put on the figure. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My nine year old really likes this toy. He's not a big halo fan, but has put it with his star wars toys and has renamed it, and is able to use his imagination to make the character fit into what he likes. It has a lot of little parts that could get lost easily. We put all the small pieces into a Ziploc bag, and that has kept them all together so far. So far, the toy seems to be durable, but we've only had it a few days.
The action figure was amazingly created, however the package it came in was ALMOST impossible to open. Had to use a box cutter, scissors and half my will power. My 8 yr old son definitely couldn't get it open. Also, the add ons (armor) is very difficult to apply. I think it's a great toy just made for older children or preteens. The Halo Spartan Locke Action Figure is by far one of the best action figures my 9 year old has played with. Baswd on first impressiom alone, the appearance of the figure is much more detailed and realistic looking than most others he owns. Once my son got to playing with it he mentioned the ease in which he was able to attach the armor and weapons, something he has complained about before with other types of action figures. Also on the same token, the pieces stayed in place well and semed durable enough to withstand typical little boy wear and tear. My son actually accidentally dropped it and none of the peices were affected. The size of this toy is also near perfect. It is larger than most figures my son has in his collection which he says he prefers. The one this he did say that falls more on the con side is the stiffness of the joints on the figure he was sent to test. It did not move as easily or as smoothly as others he is familiar with playing with. Overall though, he prefers the Halo Spartan Locke figure over most others he plays with on a regular basis. This action figure is definitely worth the purchase at the average retail selling point. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This item was intended for my nearly 10 year old son. While the figure itself looked really neat as far as styling and colors, the extras that come with it were mediocre at best. My son opened it, played with it for roughly 15 minutes, then quickly got bored with it. And he's the type who will set his figures up and make up a story or two to coincide with the set up. Overall, I would not purchase this item as something to play with if your son (or daughter) enjoys physically playing with toys. This would be a great toy for collecting.
