This waffle Iron is awesome. I love that I can make 4 full size waffles at a time. It didnt take too long to heat up. The waffles are finished when the green light comes on or when the steam slows. It says it varries by the recipe. I used a box mix and they were done at the green light but I like them a little crispier so I left them in till the steam was almost gone and they were perfect. Even though it is non-stick it does say to still use cooking spray, which I did and it works perfect. They all seemed pretty evenly cooked and I made the whole box of mix, sooo. Great product and a good price. Also it does have a locking lid so you can stand it on end to store it and the cord wraps around the base
Bought it for a friend that has 4 kids. This works perfectly. Cooks fast and makes plenty at one time to keep them all happy!
Daughter made breakfast for everyone for supper that night and everyone loved the waffles, especially our two granddaughters. They were so thrilled to finally get to taste a real waffle; not the frozen kind; and wanted to have them every night. It was easy to use, didn't spill out, like some ot the other waffle makers that we have purchased; and was really easy to clean after we were done using it.
I needed another one as the one I had was old and starting to smell. I was storing it in a bad location and it got wet inside. I looked around at all different kinds and decided to go with what I knew and I am glad I did. I just want to pour in the batter and pull out when I'm done. No settings, just waffles cooked right, and I'm glad this one stayed the same after all these years so that I know what I'm getting. And I will store it upright and not under the kitchen sink, from now on. Makes perfect waffles every time and the over spill trough really holds a lot.
Works fine. Simple to operate. Watch out for the steam that condenses into water and drips on whatever surface your maker is resting on.
I like the green light that displays when ready. I like the space saving stand up feature. So far nothing to dislike.
I bought this waffle maker to try the oatmeal waffle recipes. Since I tried it I always have amazing results, nothing sticks, easy to use. I highly recommend it
This is a nice sturdy waffle maker. Stands up for storage. We made waffles for the first time last weekend and they came out nice and crispy. There is no cooking timer so the first batch were a little softer. After adjusting our cooking time they came out great.
JUST MAKE SURE YOU SPRAY PAM ON IT BEFORE USE! IT CAN STICK BUT NOT HORRIBLY. CLEAN UP ON THESE TYPES OF MACHINES ARE ALWAYS A PAIN. THERE'S NO WAY AROUND THAT BUT THIS IS A GREAT MACHINE. IT HEATS UP FAST, COOKS FAST, AND WAS DELIVERED TO ME IN A TIMELY MANNER AS WELL. I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE AND THE PRICE :-)
I do like this waffle iron although I found it to cook somewhat unevenly. The centers of the grates cooked faster than the outside edges. I simply left them on a little longer and some areas were crispier than others. All in all, a good value for the money.
