Use the measuring on the sides of the stainless steel cup to show the kids how to mix their own chocolate milk! They can do it themselves! JELLO: mix and boiling water can stir itself while you get the fruit, coolwhip and serving bowl. Add the hot jello mix to cold water and fruit in the dish and it's done. INSTANT PUDDING: mix + 1 c. milk to start, then add 2nd c. milk and stir on high for 2 min. Pour into dishes, garnish and keep cold until dinner is finished! INSTANT CHEESECAKE: mix with milk for even texture, pour into pieshell and cool, cut, garnish and serve. (photo) NATURAL BABY FOOD is mixed while veggies are hot, store and serve. A great and iconic addition to any kitchen. I always used to see the chrome milkshake blender at the soda fountain in the drugstore in the small town I grew up in, and it's kind of nostalgic to be able to make milkshakes with the same blender. It's very well built, easy to clean, and works like a charm.
My wife stops & buys shakes once a week for us and our daughter. So I thought what a great gift so we could just make at home. It works great! we always use hard ice cream and within a few minutes it is a perfectly mixed shake.
Great to make malteds like you use to get in the neighborhood malt shops. I also use it to make smoothies. Just squish the fruit or soften the ice cream a little.
This little appliance is fantastic! Performs, as advertised; easy to use, as well as, easy to clean! Minimal work; fantastic results! Thick malts and shakes...just like you remember getting at the soda fountain!
Good product and makes nice shakes. Make sure you follow directions and soften ice cream prior to filling. Add all flavors and malt mix(your choice) LAST before mixing. This guarantees a good mixing. Make sure the beater bar is locked in place. Wish it had a metal mixing blade instead of plastic. That is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5.
I tough I was getting a low power mixer, it really does its job, works great with semi frozen milk, not with hard ice. I bought it to make my milk shakes in the morning and I can really enjoy the creamy style that you get in a coffee shop.
I got this for me and the kids to make milkshakes in. I wanted something simple and easy for them to use. It looks great. (minus that the sticker around the top is coming off) its durable. The only downside to this is, you have to do more than just "sit it on its handles". It will not break up the icecream well, due to the very small plastic like blade. We learned to work with what we had. So now when we make milkshakes, we hold the cup and shake it side to side (while keeping a washcloth around the cup from our fingers getting frozen stuck on it!) just enough to get the blade to cut down the ice cream ...it doesn't takes much time.. only a minute. then you can leave it on its handle and add in your candies, nuts, ect. oh and don't fill it too high, it may splash ;) I would say this product is worth more like 20 bucks rather than 30, IMO ! But so far I can NOT find anything cheaper or anything that works better than this...and trust me, ive done my homework :)
The product is advertised as chrome but the mixer is plastic and chrome colored. the mixing wand is plastic on the end and should be metal. it works well but i am not sure how long it will be before it breaks
I didn't even want to give it one star. I bought this end of May begging of June today is September 12 I used it for the first time today . So it just stopped working during it first use didn't even get the milk shake done. Now it's late to return it. Very very unhappy about this!!!
