Heats up quick. Color and crispness of waffles is good.

The best part of it for me, is that the plates are removable for easy cleaning, so you don't have so much trouble getting it clean. It did take a while to heat up, but maybe that's just because it was my first time using it. I am very happy with the product. We used it for breakfast, but would use it for dinner, also.

I felt comfortable using the problem first time around. The catch plate that goes underneath is a nice feature. My favorite part of this waffle maker is the fact the plates are removable and are able to be placed in the dishwasher. The waffles were cooked perfectly. I am very happy with my new waffle maker. I would recommend this product.
I like that you can make two waffles at a time. This cuts down on having one person wait and letting their waffle get cold. It also comes apart so cleanup is made easier because you can put the parts into the dish washer.

The flipping action ensures waffles are crisp on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. I also love the idea that the nonstick grids are removable for easy cleanup. Another thing that I like about Hamilton beach waffle maker is it has the preheat indicator lights which tell you when power is on and when the plates are hot enough to add batter. Love my waffle maker and I highly recommend it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful waffle maker. It heats up rapidly and it is really handy being able to do two waffIes at once. I brushed the plates with a little oil for the first time. Didn't need to oil it any more, the waffles came out easily. The waffles were crispy and cooked through. Works great with a variety of batters. I made regular buttermilk, whole wheat and using the Kodiak waffle mix. All of the waffles came out perfect. I also experimented with making other items besides waffles. Made a tasty ham and cheese sandwich using whole grain bread and also hash browns. This will be my favorite way of making hash browns from now on. I had some waffles left over and was able to crisp them back up using my toaster. Much better than those frozen ones you get at the store. The drip tray is really handy for catching spills if you fill the plates with too much batter. Having removable plates makes it very easy to clean. The locking switch and flip function worked easily. I will be using this waffle maker a lot!
I love that you can make 2 at a time, time saver. It does get really hot though, there is not temp setting so that's something we have to get used to. Overall, great product!
Thought this would work nicely for 2 waffles at one time..I made 2 waffles and when it said done they were burnt. I seasoned it before I made waffles and that didn't work. I took it back because I don't want something that burns food. I also have a single waffle maker by Hamilton Beach and it makes perfect waffles-not burnt so I thought the double would work as well.Not
