I have had no problems with this product. I've had this can opener for about a year and use it several times a day. It holds all size cans and cuts very well.
This is my second one My family broke the first one and I had to rush out to get a new one I got it on line
I bought this 3 months ago. It worked fine up until 2 weeks ago. When I try to open a can, all I get is this loud clicking sound. It will eventually open the can, but does so very slowly. It only cost $13, and I will pay more to get something that will last. I am taking this back on my next trip to Wal*Mart. It is total junk and I don't recommend it!
If you only open one can every couple of weeks this can opener is okay for you. I cook everyday and this can opener just can't hold up. I went through two of them and finally bought a Black & Decker spacemaker. They don't have it on the website but it's in the stores and it is fabulos!!
I was very exited to finally have an automatic can opener. However, when I was trying to make dinner, and just open a couple cans of vegetables; the blade only scratched the top of the cans, and the magnet didn't even hold the can...I had too! I got frustrated and went back to the manual can opener that actually works.
I bought this right before Christmas and it did not work right from day one. It does not open any size can properly. It has a horrible clicking noise when it is trying to open cans and you nearly have to break off the top to get it to release the can. The only way I can get it to open the cans is to continually poke holes in the can as it goes around. If you're looking to save money, buy a hand can opener. It will take much less time and effort!
Can opener does not grab onto the can right. You have to fiddle with it to get it to fit just right. Would not recommend.
This can opener is only about 9 months old. It started acting up 2 months ago. When you open a can, sometimes it works properly, more often it does not. It often makes a loud clicking sound. It will usually open the can, but not without peeling off pieces of the label. Even at this low price it should have worked correctly, for a lot longer. Do not buy this can opener, you will regret it.
