american ginseng has a stronger scent compared to other ginseng meaning that it is a lot more nutritious than other ginseng. I put honey and ginseng together to make tea (around 4-5 cups) after the tea I ate the ginseng not wasting it. nowadays I feel a lot more refreshed compared to before.
Really love this ginseng, and seriously each one has its own personality and face if you really look lol. Make a decoction to really extract medicinal benefits. I use 1 oz of ginseng smashed to small pieces with 4 cups water. I even do a second round with the strained ginseng and 16 oz water.
Totally dried out. There's no way to slice it due to being dried out and extremely hard. Broke one piece open and didn't notice much smell. Not what I was expecting as fresh ginseng is much better than this.
