My husband and I were not shopping for bedding, but stumbled upon this item accidentally. We had just purchased some t-shirt sheets a few weeks back, and this is the perfect match for them! We are in love with this coverlet, and the color is exactly what we were looking for! I followed the washing instructions and it washed up great! So far we are very pleased!
This was for the bed of my 11 year old son. He loves it. It works great as a blanket and coverlet when the bed is made up it looks great. Since he has gotten this he makes his own bed every day now without any fuss, just because he likes the way it looks when his bed is all put together nicely. I am going to purchase another one for my other son.
You can't beat the price. The full/queen size fits my son's queen sized bed perfectly and its a nice light weight quilt which is nice since we live in FL. Its very soft! The only issue I have with it is that you can see where they had stitched another piece of fabric to make it wider. Not noticable from afar, you can notice when you're looking at it from the bed.
Because of changing temps at night, wanted an easy coverlet/quilt to throw on the bed as a solution to cool nights and a bedspread...works for exactly that.
I purchased the grey. It is a pretty, steel grey color. The stitching is decent and so far my 2 cats have not clawed through the material. I like that it's the same material on both sides, to reverse it as needed. Soft, easy to vacuum off the cat hair, and launders well. It's lightweight, so will make a good summer quilt. I needed a light wgt blanket for spring/summer time of the year. I ordered these from reviews on line. These are definitely NOT summer wgt blankets. They are for late fall/winter wear bedding. The blankets washed up beautifully, dried in dryer just wonderfully. They are easy to fold and put away. Colors were good, and DID NOT run or look dull after my first washing. I am pleased, they will only lay on the bed, they are to small for tucking in on my queen size bed. There is still plenty of room left on the bottom/sides to cover the bed, just NOT enough for tucking in.
I really like this product. It lays good, and has the quilted lines look. And when the heavy cover comes off the bed, This will be a light quilt for the summer. This one particular item did have a flaw in it. One of the lines were sewed crooked. And it was on the side of the bed I saw. I decided not to return it but cut the tag off and turn the comfort to the other side. I am very satisfied for this light weight quilt and I am sure all would not have a flaw
I like everything about this blanket, except for the fact that it shrank about 5-6 inches in length, I washed it in cold water and took it out of the dryer as soon as it was dry. I suggest hanging it out to dry if you want to purchase it, unless you don't care if it doesn't hang over the end of the mattress after drying!
very soft, but I was expecting it to be a bit larger to cover my whole bed. I have a queen and ordered the full/queen, but it came up short. Also, I had thought it would be shinier, but it is very matte. But it is extremely soft and I'm sure would be very comfortable to sleep in, but unfortunately I have to return it.
I spend a lot of time on my bed: working at my laptop, reading, or just chilling, watching tv... I ended up making rips/holes in my bedspread. So I started looking for a replacement that would be tough, made out of 100% cotton, and a good value, but the prices out there were really scary! I finally found this one, and although it is only 60% cotton, I decided to give it a shot because I trust the Hanes brand, and boy I'm glad I did! I've been using it for over a month now. It has the perfect amount of padding to keep me warm when the AC is running (pretty much all summer long here in Texas). It has an 'elastic' quality because of the t-shirt material, so it wraps around the bed perfectly, giving it a stylish contemporary look. It's soft to the touch, an so far the stitching has held up fine. Just bear in mind that it will shrink the first time you wash it. Still works fine on my queen size bed.
