This has held up great for years outdoors
This is the perfect base for my patio set.
We have this hanover iron umbrella base on our outside deck where we do get some wind gusts now and then. It has held our 9 ft. umbrella with no problems. This is an awesome base and it is very attractive.
Keeps the umbrella sturdy.
The center cast-iron pipe that holds the umbrella fills with water no drain hole was designed in this base! i've had to remove the umbrella pole three times in the few weeks I've owned this and drain out the water that's filled in the pipe .
You cant have your umbrella in the stand unless its through your table to hold it up. Very unstable stand. On its own with umbrella up itll go over with any slight breeze. Cement stands are so much better.
