I love being able to buy 6 mini products for $8, if I don't like them, it was no big deal. The eye shadow primer made the eye make-up go on very smooth, and caused the eye shadows to crease less. The eye shadows were highly pigmented and looked great, both were very shimery. The eye liner was a rich black and went on very easy. The liner is suppose to have glitter flakes, but you're lucky to get one or two flakes on your eye lid. The mascara was a very rich black, did not clump, and made my lashes look full. The glitter mascara was about like any other glitter mascara, it didn't work very well. I applied 3 coats and got a little hint of glitter here and there. Overall, I am very pleased with the products.
i love hard candy products because they don't give me allergies like other makeups do, i recommend hard candy products specially this product it gives you that sexy and girly look.....

Hard Candy is such a fantastic brand! The eyeshadow alone is worth the purchase! The black comes across as a dark gray/silver. Very beautiful! The mascara doesn't clump and makes my lashes look naturally long and full.
This mascara is great because it really makes your lashes look significantly longer and thicker. The eyeliner is black, but it just enough sparkle in it to make it stand appart from regular black liner. I use liner int he creases as well as to line the out part of the lashes and this product stays put very well. I work 12 hour shifts and my eyeliner stays put til I get home and take it off. Its wonderful:)
This is a great kit. I often have allergic reactions to cosmetics, especially eye make-up, so I was happy to be able to be able to try many products for a small amount of money. (Happy to report no allergic reaction here) The primer goes on well and helps the shadow set. The shadow can be used wet for full coverage or dry for lighter coverage. Even though it is sample size, it is still a nice amount of make up. The liner has glitter in it and goes on well. I put the black mascara on and then let it set for a minute and top it with the silver glitter mascara. The effect is a light glitter look and looks a little clumpy to me, but I've had many compliments from people who notice the subtle shine on my lashes. It looks like little droplets of water reflecting the light, like little dew drops on the end of my lashes, so it's an interesting effect. All in all, a nice set at a nice price to try out several products. Fun kit for those of us who love to try new cosmetic looks without breaking the bank!
I love both of the mascaras in this kit and will be buying the full size soon. The lighter eye shadow isn't very pigmented and it doesn't come off well. The darker grayish eye shadow is way better comes off better. I do not like the primer...it is to greasy and makes the eye shadow and liner sort of melt off so i don't like it at all but the other products are pretty good.
I bought this on a whim just to try out some of hard candy's products without buying full size. I can say doing it this way is a great deal, however I find the actual products themselves to be sub par. None of the items had that WOW factor. Glad this only costs $8! I find the quality to be about the same as those $20 no-name makeup kits you can get around Christmas. The eyeshadow primer is OK, not great. I didn't find the eye shadows to be very pigmented at all. It took alot of work to even blend on enough for a sheer coverage, none the less a very pigmented look like I prefer. I also the wet look. When attempting to achieve this look, the top of the shadows caked and hardened, making them useless unless I scrap off portions of the top. Now, this could be because its a mini, or maybe a poorer quality of the actual product? I'm not sure. I own the pink/white koleyedescope eyeshadow and they have yet to harden like this item has. As for the mascara... The regular black one had hardly any product in it. When I pulled out the wand for use, only the very tip had product on it. This rendered it unusable. The glitter one is OK, I didn't find it to be anything fantastic. The eyeliner was horrible. Hardly any color, and really had to smash it into my face to get it to show up. Overall, I would not buy this product again, but I think it would be great for younger girls or teens who are just learning how to apply makeup, or, if you just want to test out some of these products.
I think this is good to get if you want to try out hard candy products before buying them individually you get to see what their all about but do remember they are sample size and dont be disappointed all in all you save money. makes a good gift as welll. great products.
Purchased 2 as gifts for friends. Eyeshadow fell out of container and mascara was so dry and old that it stuck together on the brush and couldn't be used. Very disapointed and a total waste of money.
